The calm and peace of the desert extended into the lovely decor of the RIAD. Adi, Idris. and Hamza contributed to making our time warm, welcoming and delicious. Wish we could have stayed a week looking at the red dunes. The meals were delicious. Hats off to Hamza!

Riad Villa Amood was hands down the best accommodation we stayed at during our time in Morocco. You could never imagine that such a calibre of a hotel/riad could even exist, much less in the desert! The riad is such a testament to the passion and dedication poured into it by Mustafa and Barbara. Everything is so well-appointed, from the architecture and furnishings, right down to the food and service. To say that Barbara is a great cook is a gross understatement - the food that we enjoyed during our stay (breakfast, lunch & dinner) was the absolute BEST we had during our 12-day trip in Morocco. A perfect fusion between Moroccan and Spanish cuisine which was a welcome change from the constant repertoire of tajine and couscous. If you find yourself in Merzouga, please do yourself a huge favour and book a stay at Riad Villa Amood. It'll be one of the most sublime luxuries you'll ever experience.

The best possible accommodation in Merzouga. Luxury villas with exquisite decor and incredibly friendly and approachable staff. Everything is brand new, and the villas are spacious with very comfortable beds. The food is also exceptional, both for breakfast and for dinner after a day of activities in the desert. The pool and outdoor chill-out area are a special mention. We'll definitely come back if we have the opportunity!

A magical, incredible place! I highly recommend it. It's a 10 in every way. It's beautiful, cozy, spotlessly clean, a wonderful place, and spectacularly comfortable. I was there in September and came back to unwind. Not only did I feel refreshed, but I came back refreshed. The location allows you to experience the dunes from the heart, in a luxurious setting filled with amenities and comfort.

This was the most beautiful accommodation we have ever stayed in! The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with an eye for style and design. Here we ate the most delicious dish in all of Morocco! The 5-course menu, in which Moroccan and Spanish gastronomy were perfectly combined, made for an unforgettable romantic evening. Highly recommended!

Barbara and Mustafa's hospitality is unparalleled... they make your stay there memorable. The facilities are magnificent... the rooms, the common areas, the pool (absolutely pampered by Mustafa). The food couldn't be better. Barbara takes care of every detail, from the bouquets, the amenities, the linens, the pillows... we found top-quality sunscreen in our pool basket... the breakfasts are fantastic (they make fried eggs with lace... the milk)... in short... thank you so much for pampering and loving us! 🫶🫶🫶
