Alexanders
4.2/540 Reviews
It was a beautiful stay at Alexander. The room was nice and clean. Beautiful view of sea. Service was good.It was hot week when we visited, and there's no AC in room ,just had a little fan, and we had to open windows wide open that made a bit noisy at night. Breakfast was not on point, so don't include breakfast if you plan to visit. Near by so many other shops ,market and beach is on walking distance. It was all together nuce trip.
Tower House 1066
4/515 Reviews
This hotel is run by a lovely couple/family who have been established here for 8 years. Made me very welcome from the outset and shared a pint or two at the local pub with the proprietor at the Tower pub thankfully only 100 foot away!!! They do cream teas that are open to the public as well and the Carrott cake is to die for.... After first sampling the Victoria sponge and lemon drizzle as well. Breakfast was amazing and with good ingredients sourced. Room was lovely with lovely maintained gardens.... There was a bonfire in the garden as it was autumn which I so desperately wanted to light and re kindle nostalgic childhood memories.... Of bonfire night. Thanks goes to my accommodating friendly hosts and I would without question definitely stay here again if in this area. A rare gem in a commercially driven world.
The Lansdowne

Been down a few times to Hastings and trying to find any decent hotel is difficult - it's just not a place most people want to go to on February - and I've been to a couple of shockers. So, at £ 100 for two nights I was expecting something to fail, but it didn't. OK, reception was a little perfunctory ”here's a key, off you go”, so no form to fill in, but had to ask for WiFi code. Paid a tenner extra for sea view, thus trading noise of traffic (wasn't that loud) for a riviera vista (sort of). TV, tea and coffee and most importantly, a half decent shower with two knobs, one for water, one for heat (why are others so complicated). Soap dispensers there. Unfortunately the bar was being refurbed.
Senlac Guesthouse
4.1/530 Reviews
On the recommendation of a friend who was very often in Hastings, we spent four nights in Senlac. It was all perfect. Whoever travels to Britain should always know that here is much smaller :-), than on the continent. Everything was very clean and living furnished. The host was very friendly and helpful. We felt very well here. The location is perfect. All is to reach foot. From Hastings can also be searched many businesses in the surroundings. The mows are also to hear in the night. My daughter has sleeped and I haven't disturbed it. The rooms are very quiet. Thank you for the beautiful stay !
