Premier Inn Haywards Heath

We had breakfast here on March 2024. The restaurant staff said that we have to pay for parking. I feel that this is not right, as their website states that there are 2 hours free parking for restaurant guests. I paid for parking anyway. There is no staff in reception to escalate the issue. It is £7 parking fee for less than 2 hours. I sent an email to their customer service however I'm not sure if I am going to get a response.

Upon arrival we were given a warm welcome by the friendly lady on reception. (Only downside was having to wait to check in at 3pm. As we wrongly assumed it was 2pm). All staff were very pleasant. Especially the young man (Polish) on the bar & reception on Saturday evening. And the very nice William at breakfast Sunday morning. (Although a little disappointed that there were no plain croissants left!) The hotel was very clean. The bed was really comfortable and we slept well. The bathroom had a great powerful shower over the bath. All in all a very pleasant and comfortable second stay. We shall definitely stay here again as will return to visit friends and family in Sussex from our home in Leicestershire.

Greeted by the wonderful Steve outside the front while we were in a pickle about where to park. He took the bags in for us and was happy, smiling and helpful. An asset to Premium Inn. He helped us change our booking due to last min addition of a daughter now staying for our second night. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Steve.

Had an awful nights stay at their Haywards Heath Hotel and complained to Guest Relations to try and claim back on their Good Night Guarantee. Guest Relations said that because I didn't report it on the day, I was not entitled to a refund. However, their website CLEAR states that I can report it within seven days of checkout, something which I did. I have been back and forth with this, providing supporting evidence to this claim, but they have ignored this fact and tried to fob me off. When I asked to make a formal complaint they just wrote back and said "We consider this matter closed!" Absolutely awful customer service that doesn't listen to you, nor follow it's own "guarantees!" I am still trying to claim a refund from them and will never use this hotel chain again!

Rhona at Breakfast was lovely. Very friendly. The sausages very top notch. Room great. Also, Becky was very helpful and sorted out the loss of my room key when I was a numpty and lost it. Parking limited but location of Hotel great. Good experience

Staying with family for a wedding. Amazing staff, very clean hotel. The lovely Rhona and Callum in the restaurant were very helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for Becky in the hotel. I will definitely visit again soon.

Rhona has been the best! Stayed for one night before a family wedding and the breakfast the following morning was the best bit! Rhona was nice and welcoming and very friendly, the room was very clean! every team we saw were very polite. Definitely would stay again.

Parking situation is dreadful. Rooms basic, and didn’t feel particularly clean. Basic hotel, basic price, less than basic amenities. Breakfast was incredibly busy as it is open to the public alongside hotel guests, so it was absolutely chaotic. No clean cups, no bread/pancakes to eat. Queues of people for getting in, getting seated, for the food, drink etc. Flustered staff. Food was nice enough when you were able to actually get some. Overall an unrelaxing and unpleasant stay. Quite disappointing, but served a purpose due to location being nearby family who live far away.

Steve the manger on Sunday night was such a nice gentleman and very helpful even those I didn’t turn up for my room until midnight. He was very well spoken and polite. He advised me on where to park and sorted out my room very promptly. The hotel is very clean and the restaurant is nice as well.
