So much laughter, good food, beautiful surroundings, and—most importantly—time together with the people we love. Cynthia the property manager is fantastic to work with and becomes more like a friend than a manager and Tessa the property caretaker is there for all your needs. This is our 2nd year in a row where our entire family stayed and we couldn’t recommend it more for your family’s next get together. We had a short but welcoming, relaxing, and comfortable stay here and would highly recommend any local locals or out of town to experience the Villa. just a short jaunt from downtown, this little hidden gem at the top of the road in a residential neighborhood is a quaint place to rest peacefully. Tesia and her snoop dog Zoe were very friendly and helpful upon arrival. Had the opportunity to meet Alexis, who prepared a delicious breakfast egg hand roll and frittata with some fresh fruit. Coffee, water, and tea were offered in the morning in a nice communal dining area with lots of windows overlooking the views of the Healdsburg Hills. We stayed upstairs in the ASTI room, which was super spacious, with a gas fireplace, and a large clean bathroom. The room was functional, spacious, and the bed was Uber comfortable. The property is circa 1980s but has a very unique architectural style. and interior features which were fun and different. There is on-site, parking, and clean sheets and towels, and we were offered some wine when we arrived, which was a nice touch. Had the opportunity to chat up the host who was friendly and informative. The location is ideal to get to downtown for the town Square, shopping, restaurants, bars, coffee, etc. We didn’t have an opportunity to use the hot tub or the swimming pool, but I would imagine in the spring or summer, with warmer temps that the outdoor space at this beautiful villa would be very rewarding. The property only has five rooms, so it felt very intimate and relatively private and met some other nice guests who seemed to be enjoying the property as well. Would highly recommend to stay here if you’re looking for something affordable yet away from town, quiet, serene, yet conveniently located to downtown. Of course, this Acoomodation is in close proximity to lots of tasting rooms and wineries. Thanks so much!

This hilltop estate is an absolute gem of luxury, offering stunning, panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards and palm trees that make you feel like you’ve been whisked away to a high-end resort in Taormina, Sicily. We absolutely love it and think it’s probably the best place we’ve ever stayed in the United States. The entire property is spotlessly clean, with light, airy rooms filled with sophisticated, high-end furniture that really elevate the whole vibe. Every corner is filled with flawless luxury details, but the real star is the beautiful patio and pristine pool area, which are perfect for unwinding while soaking in the breathtaking views. What truly sets this amazing property apart is the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. From before you arrive to the moment you step in, their kindness, responsiveness, and genuine warmth make you feel pampered and completely at ease, perfectly complementing the world-class setting. Every request is handled with impressive speed, ensuring a seamless, worry-free vacation where your only job is to relax by the water. With the stunning, postcard-perfect views and the unmatched attentiveness of the hosts, this stay couldn’t be any better. This place is a no-brainer and worth every penny. Once you get here, you’ll see. It’s in a fantastic secluded area, but still within driving distance from downtown Healdsburg. Healdsburg, by the way, has fantastic weather year-round. It’s one of those unique places. Healdsburg sits in a sweet spot where it gets intense, beautiful daytime sunshine, but is regularly cooled by the Pacific Ocean. Every evening, cold ocean air and fog roll inward through the nearby Petaluma Gap and the Russian River Valley. This creates a natural air conditioning effect, causing the temperature to drop drastically at night (often into the low 50s°F) after a warm day.

We hosted our pre-wedding rehearsal dinner at Bella Villa Messina, gathering around 60 of our closest friends and family, and it became one of the most special parts of our wedding weekend. The property itself is stunning — with gorgeous views and a setting that feels like a little treasure tucked into Healdsburg. The indoor space, especially with the fireplace going, created such a comfortable place for people to gather, catch up, and linger. At the same time, the outdoor areas were equally lovely and made for a very sweet dinner setting, allowing guests to move easily between inside and out. The evening felt easy from start to finish. The catering and bartenders were phenomenal, and everything flowed naturally without ever feeling rushed or crowded. It allowed everyone to relax and enjoy being together, which is exactly what we hoped for. Many of our family members stayed on the property and spoke highly of the rooms and how special it felt to all be together in one place. Bella Villa Messina offered an intimate, welcoming atmosphere that felt personal rather than formal — a place where people could truly settle in. We wouldn’t change a thing. Beautiful property with amazing wine country views and a peaceful atmosphere. The villa is charming, comfortable, and perfectly located near downtown Healdsburg while still feeling like a private retreat. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, making our stay truly memorable. We were visiting from Arizona, and staying at Bella Villa Messina during the final leg of our California trip was truly incredible. My wife and I were celebrating our babymoon, and the entire experience could not have been more beautiful or relaxing. The property is absolutely stunning, with gorgeous views, peaceful surroundings, and such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spotless, luxurious, and so comfortable, and we especially loved spending quiet moments on our private patio together. One of the highlights of our stay was discovering the amazing winery partnerships through the villa. Please ask the owners for their local recommendations and wine tasting experiences because they truly made our trip unforgettable. From the delicious breakfast to the thoughtful hospitality and fresh flowers around the property, everything felt special. Bella Villa Messina was the perfect ending to our California getaway, and we will always remember our time there.

Bella Villa Messina is a beautiful property with beautiful views, comfortable rooms, friendly service, and amenities such as a pool, hot tub, a patio with seating and views and a piano, located a few minutes from vineyards, active sports like biking, hiking and kayaking, and the fine dining in the Healdsburg area. Would love to go back!

I had an incredible stay at Bella Villa Messina. The property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located near downtown Healdsburg. The owners were so kind and welcoming, and every detail felt thoughtful and personal from the moment we arrived. The rooms were exceptionally clean, fresh, and comfortable. The bedding felt luxurious, the bathrooms were spotless, and everything throughout the villa was beautifully maintained. Our room even had a private patio where we could sit outside with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening while enjoying the gorgeous views and peaceful atmosphere. It made the stay feel incredibly romantic and relaxing. We also loved the delicious breakfast each morning and all of the special touches throughout the property. Bella Villa Messina truly feels like a hidden gem in wine country, and we cannot wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, the rooms were spotless and cozy, and the breakfast was delicious. Everything felt warm, relaxing, and thoughtfully prepared. We can’t wait to come back again!

Oh, this is so much more than just a hotel. As I arrived, I was met by Tisha and Zoe (the dog!) with a warm welcome and a glass of wine. My room was quite lovely, not your usual chain-hotel room, but more like an English country house. My room had gorgeous views and was quiet and clean. It’s easy to get a taxi into Healdsburg where there are lovely shops and a great array of nice restaurants. It was ten minutes drive back to the hotel where I was met with a goodnight glass of wine and chat with other guests. The weather was a bit grey, so I didn’t get a chance to use the pool. But I enjoyed great hikes nearby in Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve and Jack London State Historic Park. I felt sad to leave, it is such a warm and friendly place to stay. More like visiting friends or family than staying in a hotel. Five stars all round! Thank you to the Bella Villa Messina team!

Our experience at Villa Hermosillo was one for the books. It was cozy, quiet and so peaceful. The views around the property were breathtaking. We stayed in the Asti room and it was the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in, we turned the fireplace on every night and morning and just had the most relaxing days there.

We had such a great time at Bella Villa! I really loved the different experiences that we got to participate in. Atmosphere is really luxurious and it’s in a great location. The rooms are so comfortable and clean. We felt right at home.
