The hotel breakfast was absolutely delicious; every dish felt like it was made with great care. Our room was spacious and tall, which made it feel very open and comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent, as we couldn't hear any traffic noise from the road outside. They even gave us a late check-out after we asked about transport times, which was incredibly thoughtful. We truly felt at home!

I had a fantastic trip! I came for Jolin Tsai's concert, and the fan they gave me was absolutely beautiful. The hotel really pays attention to detail, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. While the room facilities aren't brand new, they are exceptionally well-maintained. A huge shout-out for the breakfast – it was plentiful and delicious!

Seriously speechless! I stayed at the InterContinental Hotel in Hefei, supposedly a high-end IHG property, and the experience was utterly disappointing! The air conditioning's cooling mode was completely useless; I couldn't adjust the temperature at all. It was stuck on a freezing cold setting the entire time. I woke up several times in the middle of the night shivering, even wrapped in the duvet! This is the first time I've ever encountered something like this. Paying a high price for a 'luxury' hotel, and they can't even get basic AC temperature control right. There was zero comfort. It's ridiculously bad, a complete no-go. I will never, ever come back to the InterContinental Hefei! Plus, many others have complained about the AC on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), so the hotel must be aware but clearly has no intention of fixing it. Absolutely terrible!

This was my second stay at the InterContinental, and once again, the homely service made me want to linger. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Swan Lake. From the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room, you get a beautiful view of Swan Lake. The hotel's buffet and Chinese restaurant are absolutely superb! There's a wide variety of dishes, and the flavors are amazing!

❤️ Most of the hotel staff were very enthusiastic, and they even gave my child a small snack bag when we checked in. Someone also helped us with the elevator. Most of the buffet staff were quite warm and attentive. The bartenders in the executive lounge and the staff member who was in charge of tidying up the afternoon tea dessert area were excellent. The swimming pool is superb! On the day we checked in, the pool attendants during the day – a middle-aged male staff member and a young male staff member – were both incredibly thoughtful! We didn't have swim caps, so they brought us spare ones. They even offered to inflate the swimming ring I bought! ⭕ On the average side: The welcome fruit didn't arrive for a long time on the day of check-in. It only came after I prompted them via WeChat two hours after checking in. ❌ On the negative side: The staff member behind the front desk at the entrance of the executive lounge on the day of check-in was not enthusiastic at all. After we finished eating and left, she acted as if she didn't see us as we walked past her, offering no polite farewell. This made us feel very uncomfortable.

The front desk manager upgraded my room before check-in. The room was very comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent—I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise. On the day I checked in, there was a minor issue with the AC, but I contacted the manager, and they fixed it immediately and even sent up some fruit. The lobby, restaurant, and bar areas were all fantastic.

Hands down, this is the best five-star hotel in Hefei! Especially the food quality, it's top-notch! 1. **Service**: They contacted me via WeChat a day in advance to confirm my needs. Upon arrival, everything was perfectly arranged, and my room was upgraded. I also received welcome fruits and drinks. From the moment I stepped out of the car to the lobby and then to the front desk, multiple staff members proactively offered to help with my luggage. Every staff member I encountered, from the entrance to my room, greeted me with a smile. When checking out, the doorman actively assisted with my luggage. 2. **Facilities**: The room facilities were all standard and complete, including an air purifier. The AC had low noise, and hot water was instant (within 3 seconds). I didn't find any damaged facilities or noticeable hygiene issues. The toiletries were InterContinental's standard, and they were decent. The toilet paper and tissue paper were comfortable to use. The toothbrush quality was acceptable, but the brush head was small and a bit hard on the gums; I suggest the hotel consider changing them. 3. **Dining (see pictures)**: The variety and taste of the food at the Executive Lounge's Happy Hour were the best I've ever experienced at a hotel – truly excellent value for money! The breakfast quality was also remarkably high, rarely seen even in standard five-star hotels; it was simply stunning. 4. **Location**: It's in the government district, with all amenities nearby and convenient transportation. It's also right next to Swan Lake, offering excellent views. I rarely bother to write reviews, but this time, I genuinely enjoyed my stay and had to give it a thumbs-up! I hope to visit again.

Whenever I travel to Hefei, InterContinental is my top choice. The facilities are comprehensive, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. The room is very comfortable, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. I'll definitely be staying at InterContinental again on my next trip to Hefei.

The Executive Lounge at the InterContinental Hefei absolutely deserves a thumbs up! What's more, the hotel's location, environment, and service are all excellent. It's a hotel with fantastic value for money. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Hefei! 🥳
