Better late than never for this review! This hotel near the border crossing is a hidden gem! The French Indochinese style is incredibly photogenic! The location is absolutely perfect. You can walk to Hekou Port, and it's super convenient to get to the China-Vietnam Bridge and Vietnam Street. Plus, there's free parking if you're driving. The bright yellow French-style building is so unique, and the vintage details in the lobby and rooms are perfectly executed. The black and white patterned tiles and louvered wooden cabinets create an amazing ambiance that's fantastic for photos. The room was clean and tidy, with soft lighting, making for a very comfortable stay. The manager's service was also very thoughtful. Overall, the experience far exceeded my expectations. This is my top recommendation for Hekou!

Clean and comfortable for its price. Good hot shower. Convenient location not far from the border with Vietnam and very short drive away from the main bus station. There are many shops, restaurants, big supermarket, park and a lovely river promenade all around the hotel. Excellent efficient staff. The young lady at the desk answered all my questions, helped with directions, transport and even explained to the taxi driver where to take me. For me as a foreigner just having arrived to a new country, that service alone deserves the highest rating. Thank you!

My stay here was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room itself was spotless, well-lit, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept like a baby. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, checking me in and out efficiently, and quick to respond to any requests – they really thought of all the little details. The overall environment was quiet and elegant, and I honestly couldn't find a single fault with the cleanliness or service. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommend it to everyone!

Great location, right in the heart of the main attractions. Everything is within walking distance, so no need for taxis. The hotel seems to be an older property that's been renovated, giving it a 'new wine in an old bottle' vibe, but the value for money is still pretty good. You can see the Sino-Vietnamese Railway Bridge directly across the street when you step out.

They upgraded my room for free, and it was much larger. One of the rooms even had a direct view of the China Customs building and the Clock Tower from the window. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and professional, and they even allowed us to check in early and check out late. The hotel is a bit old, so some of the facilities are dated, but it's very clean, and the beds are spotless. There's a slight odor in the bathroom if you don't turn on the exhaust fan. The location is excellent, very close to the Customs building, and there's free parking available until 3 PM the next day. The travel agency downstairs was also great; we got our embassy visa the very next morning. It's very close to nearby attractions, and you can enjoy the scenery across the river with just a short walk. Friendly tip: When we first arrived, the Wi-Fi was constantly cutting out. A staff member came over, turned on the TV to test it, and after that, it worked perfectly without any lag. I'm not sure why, but it happened in both rooms.

I stayed in Hekou for several days and stayed in 3 hotels. Hekou Jiashang Business Hotel has the best hardware and software. 1. The parking lot is very large, and it can accommodate more than a dozen buses without any problem. RV tours and motorcycle tours can all come here. During my stay, I saw an RV traveling guy parked here for 2 nights. 2. The room is clean, tidy and big. There are chairs for simple working. 3. Because it opened this year, the bed sheets, duvet covers and pillows are all new, including bath towels. The quality is similar to that used in mid-range hotels. You can tell by touching it. 3. I care about whether the bath water is hot or not, whether the water flow is strong or not, and whether the floor drain leaks quickly. Hekou Jiashang Hotel did not disappoint me in these aspects. 4. The shampoo and shower gel can only be said to be average, but at this price, I don’t dare to expect too much 😂. I think hotels must have a small bar of soap. I remember this one has it. 5. The hotel is quiet. In addition, there are two time-honored restaurants on the right side of the door, which I think are very good. Finally, the small town at the mouth of the river has very good conditions in terms of tourism, food and trade. It has something to offer. If it is built well, it will definitely attract many Chinese and Vietnamese tourists. It is a pity that it has no characteristics now. It is really a pity.

The room, though small, was clean and tidy, and the service was attentive. The hotel is right outside a snack street, and there's also a restaurant inside for groups traveling together, where you can enjoy a family-like atmosphere for just a tiny fee! The hotel environment is quiet, and I really liked the smart facilities, which are super convenient for lazy people like me when traveling. It's less than 500 meters from the port. It's a very clean little town. A really great travel experience.

The five-star praise is for the boss. The service is enthusiastic. The child's phone and watch were forgotten and were left at the front desk for us. The hotel is very close to the port, but the room facilities are a bit older. I just went to check in, so I can stay here for a while.

The room and bathroom are quite large. The WiFi works well. The remote control does not seem to be the one intended for the television. There is a kettle and we are provided with bottles of water. There is also a water bottle in the hallway. My room was cleaned quickly because there were traces left at the exit of the bathroom. You have to be athletic because my room is on the 6th floor without an elevator. It is difficult to talk to the staff who only speak Chinese even with the translation tools. But for the price it is really very good.
