The room overall was good, and the hotel's location was great, very close to everything around. There were also many delicious Vietnamese snacks nearby, and a popular Zhejiang 'Shaobing' (baked flatbread) place next door. There's parking available in a small courtyard right across the street from the hotel. The only downside was the trash can in the room; it was a bit odd, and you couldn't open it with your foot, so you had to use your hand, which wasn't very hygienic. I suggest replacing it with a better one.

We were a party of two and spent a long time choosing this place among the many hotels nearby. The decor was simple and outdated, and the hygiene wasn't great. Perhaps it was peak season, but overall, the accommodation in Hekou seems to be just average!

I found this place hard to find as it doesnt really look like a hotel from the outside but the staff were friendly. Dont be confused by the name though as it has nothing to do with the Marriott' hotels! Its simple, clean, close to the border crossing and handy to the shops

The bathroom was pretty average, had a strange smell, and there were mosquitoes. On the plus side, there's a night market nearby and it's close to the border crossing.

Clean but looked more worn out than on the pictures, very old pictures. Staff was not really helpful. In the room you have to scan a code and than pay for getting any power supply, really crazy.

Stayed here only for a night and cos it’s very near to the custom building. For this price I had no complains Counter staff can speak Chinese and can help with currency exchange Lots of eateries around
