Hongda Hotel

Excellent, very good location, also excellent, close to the river, with a food street right outside offering everything from barbecue to wontons. The hotel price is also reasonable, suitable for those who can't afford to see the scenery.

Overall, this hotel is a very standard business hotel. The facilities are complete but unremarkable; the rooms are clean and tidy but lack design; the staff are polite but not particularly enthusiastic. The location isn't in a prime business district, but transportation is still convenient. During my stay, I didn't encounter any major problems, but there were no particularly surprising highlights either. In short, it's an "average" hotel that meets basic accommodation needs, but don't expect it to leave a lasting impression.

The room smells terrible and the air is stale; it's really unpleasant.

We came to Hekou Port in Hekou County from Nanning City, Guangxi. We stayed in a hotel in Hekou, Yunnan, near the China-Vietnam border. The facilities of Hongda Hotel are terrible! The mattress and the cabinet under the bed don't fit together. It hurts my feet when I go to the bathroom at night. And there is a gas station opposite the hotel. There are cars coming and going at night. You can park in front of the hotel to pick up guests. But I discussed it with the lady boss. She didn't want to. So I have some thoughts about such a hotel. I also know that business is difficult now. But the bed bottom of the hotel doesn't fit the Simmons mattress, which caused my feet to touch it when I got up at night! The hotel lobby doesn't look like a hotel at all! The lobby is messy and there are a lot of messy things, like a home! Maybe the hotel is cheap!
