Original Sokos Hotel Presidentti

A great hotel with friendly staff. The rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was fine, but more choices would be nice. We had a good time and would recommend it.

Excellent location and excellent  support from reception staff breakfast choice excellent  and lovely large clean room , would certainly return  3 mins from station and trams and right next to the art museum and park  and natural history museum  would certainly return

I had a lovely stay at the Sokos Presidentti. The staff couldn't have been nicer, and the breakfast was huge with a lot of options to choose from. I stayed in one of their summer-themed rooms, it was really charming, though could've used a little TLC in places. The sauna was great too, though I’d definitely recommend hitting it right around when it opens at 5:00 PM if you want to avoid the crowds. Finally, the hotel is just steps away from the train station, which made getting my early morning flight very easy. Oh, and since I wasn't able to go to breakfast the kind staff sent me off with a small meal to go. All and all a very nice stay.

This was my second time staying at the this hotel. Location is perfect, staff is amazing. Breakfast is average, nothing to write home about, but one won’t be hungry.  The only disappointing thing was a hairdryer. It sounded like an airplane turbine, but barely produced any air.

Great location in the city center near several points of interest and the central station. The room was very spacious and the hotel has a very good sauna and pool on the basement, and if you forgot to bring a swinsuit they can lend you one no extra charge. The breakfast is great, a mix of a very finnish and continental choices. Can’t go wrong with this hotel!

Very spacious hotel and comfortable bed! However the location is quite an uphill walk even though it is 8-12 minutes, and Helsinki roads are not the smoothest. The bathroom provided a mop which became obvious why later as the area outside the shower will flood as there is a gap between the doors. The first night I wet the bathroom mat entirely which was unpleasant as the floor became wet and cold.

Huoneen puhtaudessa olisi ollut parannettavaa. Lattialla oli pölyä ja hiuksia. Sijainti oikein loistava ja palvelu ystävällistä.

Rooms is normal, location is very central and convenient. Good breakfast and big lobby

Wonderful hotel we booked on a trip.com deal. For a 1 - 3 night stay the hotel is perfect, very elegant entrance and clean throughout. The beds were comfortable, the washroom was modern, and the room even had a tiny kitchenette. I have to say the room was slightly smaller than I was expecting but for a couple + a toddler on a short stay, it suit us quite comfortably. The breakfast was rich in variety too. Hightly recommend, would stay again! One side note, the hotel pool/sauna was only open until 10AM in the morning, closed during the day, then open again after 5PM, not a deal breaker but it's nice to know ahead of time. Enjoy!
