I was pleased with the safety and condition of the property. I loved the tranquility and quietness. Excellent facilities and kitchen and other resource needs are top class. Suitable for work and leisure.

I enjoyed a fabulous stay at the Waterfront Apartments. The location is the best thing about my stay. Located in the heart of Hermanus, there is a great vibe around the place, with many places to eat, and drink everywhere you turn. Close to beautiful art galleries, the amazing Hermanus Cliff Paths, this holiday town has culture and soul. I visited Friday and Saturday so was treated to the brilliant music of a nightclub that is very close to the apartment I stayed in. Luckily I sleep with white noise, if you don’t it is very loud of a weekend! The apartment is well stocked and beautiful, especially loved the kitchen and the bathroom was fantastic. The view was great, looking out towards Grotto Beach. One thing that would be a good addition is a down duvet and pillows. All in all a great stay.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Anchor’s Rest Guesthouse in Hermanus! Beautiful, spotless rooms, a peaceful atmosphere, and incredibly welcoming hosts. The location is perfect and everything was just exceptional. Highly recommended — we will definitely be back!

Stayed at their apt 9 waterfront apt. Great instructions for checking in and getting the keys. The photos made it very easy. The apartment is nicely decorated and has everything you need for your stay. The pool area upstairs was lovely and the central location was perfect. A little noisey on a weekend, but nothing horrendous and it's the price you pay for being right in the centre. View was good, more than a side sea view, that is advertised. Nice having milk and coffee when you arrive,dsaves you having to shop on the day you get there. Plenty of space in the apartment and good sized bathroom. Had a few issues with the lights but was sorted quickly. Also note had issues with the Netflix, but used our own account, so didn't cause any problem. Note.. There is only Netflix in the room, no standard sabc TV. Parking was no problem. All in all had a great stay and would recommend and stay again. Karien was very helpful as a host.

We had the most wonderful stay for a few weeks in Hermanus at Anchors Rest. Our host Karien was excellent. Kept in touch and so helpful. The apartment was very clean well equipped and so quiet. The garden with pool is pretty and great for relaxing after day out. Lots to see and do. We loved being close to coastal Path and walking into Hermanus to use the tidal pool everyday. We felt really safe. We will definitely return.
