Villa Vicky

It was a family hotel! Many returning guests and it was quiet and pleasant even though it was close to the heart of the city. The staff were really nice and we really only have positive feedback. We don't usually want to go back to destinations, but we would love to return here!

Where do we start (male & female aged 44, WC September 26th, 10 nights). what stunning and beautiful apartments, couldn't ask for a more tranquil well maintained grounds - clearly loved by the owners Kosta and Vicky who were exceptionally warm and friendly. Mainly Dutch guests who were all very friendly, few children (but we were in term time & no party animals) and staff were all very attentive, friendly and cheerful. Our apartment (superior ground floor, 2-4 persons) was cleaned well, bins emptied and beds made daily by the lovely staff. Good kitchen with basic 2 electrical ring hob, small oven, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, fridge-freezer, cutlery and utensils including basic pots. Large living space (lounge) with two large sofas, TV and small dining table (4 max), hair dryer. We had a good size terrace at the front and rear each with outdoor seating and stunning views (mountains, gardens, and the sea) one with clothes airier and one with table. Two air-con units (one in lounge, the other bedroom, didn’t use), two well sized wardrobes. Good shower, hot water, no bath. Two very clean pools and cold Jacuzzi (with power jets & bubbles) and the best sunbeds ever experienced – top quality!! The whole villa was maintained to exceptional standards, stunning gardens were abundant with beautiful greenery and fruit trees, peaceful and spacious. It’s situated within 5-10 minutes’ walk from the main beach, local bus stops, shops (SPAR supermarket), bars & restaurants (great for food) – just far enough away to remain peaceful. Have no doubts about returning, a wonderful experience. Luxury feel for budget price. Thank you Kosta, Vicky & team.

Hersonissos in Crete is an area renowned for noisy Brits and many other nationals letting their hair down. Water Parks, Bungie Jumps, Go Karting and mad entertainment rule. But just a few hundred metres away from the main road and all this mayhem lies the tranquil and beautiful Villa Vicky. The grounds are a paradise of lush planting, the swimming pools are perfect for adults and children with a restaurant and bar set back discretely from the sun bathing terraces. The minute you enter the gates you feel a calmness not found in many areas of the world. The family run and beautifully tended apartments are stylish but subtle at the same time. You never fell any pressure to do anything you do not want to. The staff were all more helpful and charming than I have found in a long time. I do not speak Greek but was able to make myself understood with no problem. The majority of the guests are either Dutch or Scandinavian and they were all well behaved. Children were looked after by caring parents. For a man who dislikes sunbathing and prefers action this was the perfect antidote for a manic working period. Walking alone in the early hours or working in my room all was calm and the perfect place to take stock and recharge. Thank you for a truly brilliant experience.

Villa Vicky is a smal apartment hotel just outsite Hersonissos. The garden around the hotel is very beatiful, and allways clean and Nice. The owners are very nice, trying to do all the best for the costumers. All the staf are very friendly. The hotel is very quiet and not for Young people who want to party and drink all night.

The villa was amazing. Staff was very friendly kind and nice. Room was very clean like the whole area of villa. Location was perfect for us. Close enough for everything we needed and far enough from parties etc. Food and drinks were very good. I recomend this villa if you want to relax in nice and lovely place and enjoy your holiday

It was for me the fifteenth time to visit Villa Vicky and I still find it a wonderful, quiet and nice place. Friendly owners, barman and staff. It has a more than beautiful garden with a lot of fruit trees and flowers. Location is not far from the City of Hersonisos and the beach.

Villa Vicky is a really wonderful, nice and quiet hotel that is worth visiting. The location is perfect! Just a short walk to the restaurants, shops and of course to the beach. Still it is located in a quiet area sorounded by a beautiful garden and a nice and newly refurbished pool area. There is a snackbar where you can buy breakfast, lunch and a smaller selection of dinner dishes. They also serve you all kind of refreshments. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with all of your needs. The staff are really friendly, cheerful and always with a smile on their mouth, and of course the owners which are always around doing everything for you that makes you feel like you're a part of their family! The sweetest hosts you can get! Regular guests keeps coming back, new friendships are made and makes this place unforgetable! After returning from our fifth stay at this wonderful place we can't wait to get back next year!
