Reviews of Van der Valk Hotel Hildesheim

The hotel is near a construction site, which makes access and parking challenging. Location isn't great, as the central area is 15-20 minutes walk. Service could be better too.

The hotel is located right in the city center, so as soon as you walk out you're right in front of the most beautiful part of the city. The location is fantastic, the rooms are very clean, the staff are very nice, and the breakfast is very rich.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, direkt am Marktplatz. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und ich konnte bereits um 14:00-Uhr einchecken. Das Zimmer hatte eine angenehme Größe und war ansprechend. Leider eine Seltenheit: Handtücher werden nicht gewechselt, wenn sie aufgehängt sind. Auch kann man auf die Zimmerreinigung zugunsten einer Baumpflanzung verzichten. Der Poolbereich mit Sauna und Sitzecke am Kamin ist sehr schön, kostenlos und bereits ab 6:30-Uhr geöffnet. Per Tablet kann man einiges steuern und bestellen. Nicht so toll war die geteilte Matratze im Doppelbett, hat meinem Rücken nicht so behagt.
