I loveeeeee everything about the Spark from the employees to the hotel room!!! The pool stays clean and the breakfast attendants are awesome if you need anything extra they are helpful. Last but not least Ms. Leslie is the bomb.com lol she is amazing inside and out🤞🏽🙌🏽🫶🏽

Initial stay was good, besides there being no soap in the shower bottles. Wifi connection was confusing and made us think that we had to pay so we just ended up not connecting. On the 2nd night of our stay we went out to eat and I was notified of a $398 charge to my card. Once we got back from eating we talked to the lady at the front desk and she said she removed the charge but we never once got informed on what it was for and the manager wasn't there so we couldn't talk to anyone else. Following that, the day after, we checked out around 9:00AM and I got sent a receipt of our stay which now had a ANOTHER $480 charge. Mind you our hotel was fully paid for around a 2 months prior to the trip. I called back to the hotel and got mad this time with them and told them that we should absolutely not be getting anymore charges and I needed it fixed asap. Suprise surprise staff said the manager was in a "meeting" and they would have to call me back. Manager conveniently got out of the "meeting" & called me back a few minutes later. I was once again never told why we got charged and the phone call was just overall very unprofessional. My fiancé and I feel as if this was a staff member trying to take money in hopes that we wouldn't notice or file a complaint, just because we were young. We never got any explanation and it wasn't that a mistake that happened once, it happened twice. Overall hotel appearance was nice for the cost and location, but that doesn't mean anything if they just try to take almost triple the amount you paid. If we knew we would be getting constant charges we would've just upgraded hotels and stayed elsewhere. We will definitely find somewhere else to stay next time.

Perfect selection

We slept in everyday, so cleaning never managed to get in our room. The floor was filthy after the first day from sand and silt. The bathroom either didn’t have a fan or it was tied to one of the lights and was broken. The room was constantly humid and our swimsuits never really dried. The public areas were clean and well kept. There were a lot of families, most of whom were great. Eating breakfast to the sound of a girl being beat by her younger brother with a stick wasn’t fun on that one day though. The location was a two block walk from the beach and was quite close. Mostly what you’re paying for here is the location.

The pool was terrible. The water was very cloudy and poorly maintained. Besides internet, there wasn't much else available. There were no activities for children. You have to arrange everything outside. The only good thing was breakfast. Even then, we ate the same things for five days straight. I don't plan on staying there again.

Overall, it was an enjoyable trip. The room was clean and all the staff were friendly.

I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days for a business trip. I was generally satisfied with the breakfast, service, swimming pool facilities, and room condition. When I made the reservation, I saw photos of the facilities and assumed that cooking some food was possible in the common areas. However, when I asked a hotel staff member, they said there were no such facilities and that different photos had been uploaded.
