Reviews of Dormy Inn Himeji Natural Hot Spring

Even during the cherry blossom season weekend, I managed to get a pretty good price. Everything was up to the usual Dormy Inn standard. The location is super convenient, about a 3-minute walk from Himeji Station's South Exit, and Himeji Castle is about a 15-minute walk away. They have a public bath, including an open-air one, and they even provide free popsicles and lactic acid drinks. The service is high-standard; I had to queue for breakfast, but the staff kindly extended the dining hours.

First time staying at a Dormy hotel inn and super impressed with the level of hospitality for the price! 1. Public onsen and sauna are available on the top floor. Gender segregated with both indoor and outdoor (rotenburo) sections and the usual amenities. Only the sauna is closed overnight, the onsen remains open. Washing machine and dryer are available on 12F too. The washing machine is free, the dryer is not. 2. Free refreshment once you're done with your onsen. Ice cream at night and probiotic drink in the morning. 3. Free serving of ramen (yonakisoba) at night from 21:30-23:00. Head over to the restaurant at 2F. 4. Breakfast buffet is available and it was honestly quite decent for the price. Would stay at Dormy again if I return to Japan 😊

Onsen was spacious. Breakfast spread was very good and we had a very full meal. Himeji Castle was 25 minutes walk and surrounding area are restaurants and shopping centres.

Very Good Location, Just next to the station. 2 mins walk can go back to train station and the giant plaza just next to you, easy for shopping. Walk around 20mins can go to the Himeji Castle. Front Desk have Very good service and have a free onsen and ramen provided. The room is small but clean. Highly recommend if you come to Himeji city.

I arrived early and the staff told us to keep the car at hotel car parking with 300yen per hour, which is cheap and let us hassle free leaving the car and start our sight seeing. When we came back to hotel at night, all the luggage was in the room. Super grateful. Very care to kid with kid amenities. The onsen environment is clean and looks new! Close to JR if you travel by railway. Complimentary noodles with Xmas style and free drinks making kid so happy for the stay!

Good location! 20 minute walk to Himeji Castle, and the beautiful gardens. Right next to the station. Lovely onsen

Got upgraded to double bed room. Room is clean. Breakfast is wonderful. Love the Hot spring ♨️. U can have free ice-cream and ramen after bath And, very close to station. Highly recommend here 🙂

What a great value! Friendly and responsive staff. Onsen was nice. I dislike the hotels that still enforce the tattoo policy, but they were kind enough to provide patches so I could cover mine to use the spa.

If you have been to any Dormy Inn, you've seen them all. Nice onsen on the top floor, free ice cream and ramen are the standouts. The room was clean but quite small.

Conveniently located near the train station with access to shopping, restaurants and shops. Parking available with the hotel.

We had a very spacious corner twin room for 2 of us! So generous! Also the onsen was very clean and we loved it! Parking was full when we arrived but they directed us to a nearby parking lot with fixed parking rate. Love this place!

We have spent two nights in early December 2025. The location is good in terms of convenience to the scenic area as well as the train Station. The hot spring facility is properly provided. Seems Dormy Inn brand remained a good stay for vacation purposes.

Good service and attentive staff going the extra miles. Good room, good food, good onsen too.

Very accessible location not far from the train station. Room and hot spring is nice as in other hotels under this brand. Great value for the price.
