We spent 4 nights here and it was more than enjoyable. Every meal was excellent, no exception. Very friendly staff. The facilities are wonderful. The best hotel gym I have ever seen!! I really can't fault anything. I highly recommend this hotel!

This is a very pleasant 5-star luxury hotel situated in the Hoch Schwartzwald (Black Forest) in South-eastern Germany. The hotel is family-owned since 1446 (see picture)!! The village is very nice, surrounded by woods with ample hiking trails. It's also not far away from the nice Titisee (Lake Titi) and the ski village Feldberg. The hotel has a very nice feel with very welcoming staff everywhere, from reception to restaurant etc. The ambience is relaxed and pleasant. We had the all-in (I think that's all they offer) , which includes a simple but good quality buffet lunch, high tea with lovely home-made pastries and dinner in their restaurant. They only use local producers (they list all their producers, many are organic). Dinner is good, with high quality ingredients. It has mainly local dishes, which is very nice. I had the veal liver. Nice ingredients and flavours. The liver was a tad overcooked (calf liver should be slightly rose and tender). The same for my wife's medium-rare steak (which was medium at best), for which we paid €30 extra. Wine selection was good. Breakfast was truly superb with very good made-to-order omelettes etc. Our room (a junior suite) was very spacious and nice. The beds were firm and good. Free minibar. The bathroom was also nice, but it had a rather small bathtub with shower (with a small shower head), a bit cramped at the end of the bathroom. They should have used a bit more of the overall suite space to create a large walk-in shower. Towels were of good quality. The sauna/wellness area is beautiful and of high quality. Overall an extremely nice hotel, run by pleasant, professional and courteous people. It's not cheap (€560 per night for two). But given the high quality experience and all F&B (except drinks at dinner) being included, it's good value for money.

We staid 5 days at Adler Hotel and this was our fifth time with this superbe hotel. Wonderful client centric service, excellent food, great swimming pools and wellness offer. Superbe location in the Black Forrest with accommodations that are so typical for the region. We love it! We will be back soon!

We arrived late but the room was beautiful with a very stylish decor. The bed was exactly what we needed and the staff we excellent and attentive. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel both excellent meals.

We return here yearly for our wedding anniversary (at least for ten or more years now) so have seen things evolve over time ... This stay was truly wonderful (helped by the weather as well). Lots of staff present and generally seemed very happy which is always a good sign. Service was well paced and friendly and our room was quiet and comfortable as always. Everywhere seemed well maintained and the breakfast is one of the best around (at least as far as our travels are concerned) with lots of choice and a notable increase in speed of service when ordering something from the kitchen (was fine before but much sharper this time around). Dinner also very good ... menus fixed but can swap things around if needed / desired and cooking was excellent with efficient service. Didn't have the chance to use the spa as late back both days so substituted afternoon tea which was most enjoyable. As always the facilities are great but its the staff who make it all come together so a big well done and a similar sized thank-you to them all. Looking forward to our return already ...

Yet again my stay was perfect. Everyone was very attentive, helpful and smiling. The hotel has been renovated a few years ago and it is a success. The colours chosen for the rooms both walls and furniture are very good and very relaxing. The bed was very good, house keeping very thorough. The food was excellent, innovative and at the same time traditional. It was light and although plentiful, you were always feeling good after a meal. The spa, pool and sauna were most enjoyable. So I can only recommend the hotel as I am sure one will not be disappointed.

We booked a spontaneous 2 night Wellness on Top package to celebrate my birthday. Fabulous from start to finish. Room 7 was extremely comfortable and quiet and the spa/sauna/pool area, including our massages were heavenly. The staff are all excellent and very hardworking. The cleanliness is superb. We enjoyed the breakfast and sumptuous afternoon tea (including pleasant live piano entertainment), lovely 4 course dinners and all the little extras like room minibar/tea in pool area etc… We were too full from breakfast to enjoy the light lunch on offer but the hotel certainly ensures you are well fed and relaxed. We’ve been to many wellness hotels in the Schwarzwald and this is now my favourite.

The Parkhotel Adler offered the perfect spa experience - the heated outdoor pool, sauna and hammam were amazing, as were the three messages I had in addition to the spa. The cuisine was truly delicious and memorable. The staff were all very attentive, kind and helpful. I would go back in a heartbeat!

The hotel has a prime location but LACKS AIR CONDITIONING, which is a significant drawback given the high August temperatures. This reduces our overall assessment. New guests should also be aware that the clientele is mostly elderly or families with children.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Parkhotel Adler, and I must say, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking location and peaceful surroundings of the hotel. The history of the hotel added a special charm to our stay, making it even more memorable. The modern and well-maintained hotel rooms provided us with the perfect retreat, and the accommodating staff exceeded all our expectations. From the reception desk to the restaurant staff, everyone made us feel welcome and valued throughout our stay. We were truly impressed by the level of service and attention to detail exhibited by the entire team. Our visit coincided with the birth of two baby deer in the deer reserve, adding a touch of magic to our experience. The pools, spas, steam rooms, and saunas were equally delightful, providing us with the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax. The restaurants' food, afternoon tea, and treats were scrumptious, and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal. As individuals working in stressful industries, we truly appreciated the tranquility of the hotel, allowing us to escape and rejuvenate. We are already planning our next visit, and there is no doubt that we will choose to stay at Parkhotel Adler again. Thank you for your generosity and excellent staffing. Relax Oasis pure joy and the hotel staff is impeccable! Definitely going back soon! The food is amazing and love how you can chose your menu within the full board option! The room was super clean, a real rose was nice to see! And a gift of salt herbs already in the room and we just arrived- great attention to details!

This place is not a hotel, It is the expansion of heaven on earth. There is a specific private park at the high level. You cannot come across a staff who is not smiling and expert. Breakfast is natural. Dinner with 3 different menus, Michelin amount and makes you feel good after the meal. I swam in the hot outdoor pool under plenty of oxygen and reset my mind under the chirping of birds. The village of Hinterzarten is a quiet Black Forest element. Parkhotel Adler, together with all its staff, will offer a paradise experience without going to different dimensions. Do we need another word ?

Perfect experience with our 4 kids under 7 years old. The room was perfectly adapted for a family and well equiped. The hotel is very quiet, the service is great and super nice. Families are more than welcome, there is a very nice mix of generation. Extra cost are low - almost everything is included in the pension and there are no bad surprises. The parc is just beautiful, with a play ground for kids and lots of different activities (badbinton, ping pong, etc.) are possible. The village is also very nice, with lots of different shops. There are many hike you can make in the area.
