Reviews of Plaza Hotel Fujinoi

Just needed a simple overnight stay to visit the Attack on titan museums and locations. Hotel was to everything. Supermarket, station, bus terminal, rental car shop was all in close walking distance. Accidentally booked the smoking room so there was a smell. I'd imagine the non smoking rooms to be much more comfortable on the nose.

I stayed here for a business trip. The staff were all very kind, and I had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was simple, just bread and salad, but it was delicious. Although the menu was the same every day, which got a little repetitive, the service was good, and overall I was satisfied.

For my room type you can see photos here on Trip for what are actually two types of room, one being newer and on the 2nd floor. Front desk aimed to please as they initially assigned me a fourth floor room but some minutes gave me a brighter 2nd floor room with its own A/C. Breakfast was just from 8 to 9 when I was there. The WiFi was not great, apparently dropping out from time to time.

Very helpful staff

Hotel is at convenient location near train station, bus waiting area and big supermarket. You can take the bus to Fukuoka airport and other places from the bus waiting area. Hotel room is not very big. The breakfast is simple but filling.

Good location, convenient transportation

The location is convenient and the staff are polite, but the rooms are small, perhaps because it's an older hotel, and the mattresses are spring mattresses that are a bit sunken. A simple Western-style breakfast is provided free of charge.

It's old, but it's been cleaned nicely. The light next to the bed was flickering, and I wish they'd changed the bulb. The front desk staff were very helpful, and they always greeted me when I left and when I returned, which was reassuring. A simple breakfast was provided free of charge, but I didn't have it, so I can't rate it. One thing that bothered me was that the walls were thin, and I could hear the snoring from the next room. While snoring is unavoidable, I was unhappy that they assigned rooms so close together, even though there were clearly many empty rooms. Wouldn't it have been better if they'd left a gap between rooms? It would be understandable if the hotel was full, but that wasn't the case.

The staff are friendly, and since it is close to the train station and Aeon Mall, it seems like a decent place for a one-night stay. However, as for the morning breakfast, well... it was too simple and not satisfying.

The location is 1 minute from Hita Bus Terminal. Free breakfast is provided. Mori Drug Store and Aeon are 2 minutes away.

It seems to be an older hotel. The accommodation fees are also inexpensive. When I made the reservation, it was a smoking room, so I sent an email asking if it would be possible to change it to a non-smoking room, but I received no reply. On the day of arrival, I mentioned this, but they said that they were fully booked and could not change it. It seems that emails do not go through, so I think it is better to call directly if you have any issues. A simple breakfast was included, but the woman who took care of me was diligent and I had a good impression of her.

The facilities are good and clean. The location seems pretty good too.
