Pros: Lovely rooms (two-bedroom) which had everything you needed. Nicely decorated and felt upscale. Hotel was slightly off the main road and rooms were quiet. HCMC roads are busy and noisy!! Small but clean gym, small playground for kids (indoor and outdoor). Pool is big and clean. Restaurant area next to pool. Lobby and reception area is very nice, smells good and has a luxurious feel. Location was good, near the zoo. Cons: only one: breakfast. Vietnamese food is very good but this was the hotel’s weakest link. Limited choice and not that delicious, if you got there after 8.30am almost all the warm food was cold. Hope this can be improved.

During a delightful week with my family at Sedona Suites, we experienced remarkable warmth and hospitality from the entire staff. From the moment we arrived, their attention to detail, cleanliness, and comfort left a lasting impression on all of us. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Anthony and the exceptional team for making our stay so memorable.
InterContinental Residences Saigon, an IHG Hotel

The 2-bedroom apartment we stayed in was large and a great space for my family of four. The facilities were very nice but the service is excellent. We would like to thank Handsome Van at the front desk along with every person at the front desk for the next level of service they provided. I really was blown away by the great service we received from the doorman to the servers to the drivers to and from the airport. It has been 5 years since I have been back to Vietnam and the service at the hotel was spectacular. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! They really made my stay wonderful. Thank you Intercontinental Team. We will be back!
Hilton Saigon

A long waited Hilton Saigon has finally opened and I was very excited to check out this hotel but the new hotel was a total disappointment and I regret spending my money on this property mainly due to the issues mentioned below. 1. The AC seemed to shut down whenever I leave the room and the room temperature goes up to unpleasant degrees very quickly. Also, even with the AC on for a couple of hours, the room was a bit warm and the coolest place in the hotel was the elevator and hallways. 2. Even though Hilton attracts a lot of Business travelers, there is no working desk in the room. I had to check my emails and get some work done in a round table without adequate lighting. (such as desk lamps) 3. As a coffee guy, I noticed there was no coffee in the room and I asked if I can get some coffee. The person who picked up my phone said they will bring the coffee but later I got a call that they DO NOT provide coffee in the basic guest room and if I want coffee they told me that I can order it from room service. 4. There is no power outlet for the hair dryer in the bathroom. The outlet in the bathroom is for razors only and the dryer will not work. How nice to blow dry your hair standing outside the bathroom. 5. Although they had better rooms, they did not give an upgrade to Hilton Honors Diamond guest. The front office manger said that there is a maintenance issue to the room I was placed but I found that the room was still up on the Hilton App for sale. If you do not want to give an upgrade, please just say you don't want to. I could still go on but these are the main reasons for not recommending Hilton Saigon and please do not make the same mistake as I did.

Hotel is definitely different with its traditional Vietnamese furniture and old world charm. I would say the rooms are in a slight need of a facelift but booking this type of hotel you know you are not going to get a modern 5 star property. One things is for certain that the service level from all staff we encountered is fantastic. They were helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely stay.
