A25 Premium Hotel - 65G Nguyen Thai Hoc

The staff are all very warm and dedicated. The hotel owner even speaks Chinese! The room was big and clean, and it felt amazing to come back to a cool air conditioner and fan. The hotel's location is great, with various convenience stores right next door, and it's just a ten-minute walk to all sorts of famous snack shops and attractions.

This is a clean hotel with convenient transportation, plenty of shops nearby, and easy access to tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and actively helpful, and I had no inconveniences. We had a good stay. The elderly couple rested well. The samgyeopsal at the Korean restaurant 'Mokgeum-eung' nearby was excellent.

Overall, the hotel is a 7/10. Pros: Excellent location. It's about a 10-minute walk to the subway and a leisurely 20-minute stroll to the main attractions. Decent breakfast buffet. Daily housekeeping. Luggage storage available. Helpful staff who open doors and assist with luggage. The room was equipped with shampoos, shower gels, toothpastes, and small amenities like shower caps. But there are also cons: While the breakfasts were not bad, the selection was limited, and sometimes there was no meat whatsoever (not even sausages). Housekeeping... though it's daily, the quality suffers. There's black mold in the hotel, and not just a little in the bathroom. Upon check-in, there was trash in the nightstand, tissues were scattered, and new towels weren't provided during cleaning. AND THE BIGGEST FLAW - THE HOTEL IS NEXT TO A SCHOOL. Every morning, I was woken up not by my alarm, but by screaming school children and school bells outside the window. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're not prepared for that. I was able to overlook these issues, mainly because they allowed an early check-in without any extra charge. So, if the above doesn't bother you, it's a fine place to stay.

A bit far from the city center. The room facilities were decent; in addition to the AC, there was also a fan. It was really great to have both AC and a fan, especially visiting in hot March. The bathroom also provided large bottles of shower gel and shampoo, showing they weren't stingy at all. There's a school next door, so it might be a bit noisy if you're on a lower floor. Other than that, there were no issues, and it's still worth staying. The breakfast changed daily and had a good, balanced selection.

This hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Ben Thanh Market. The breakfast spread is generous and delicious, and the lobby service is excellent. Both day and night, there are numerous street food stalls right downstairs, offering local specialties. The most expensive pho is only 45,000 VND, with thick slices of beef. The Vietnamese baguette is incredibly cheap at just 20,000 VND, which is about 5.2 RMB – absolutely amazing.
