Overall, I had a good stay. The hotel is in a quiet and convenient location, but there are several issues that made my stay less comfortable. The biggest problem by far was the housekeeping service.
During my one-week stay, I experienced multiple issues. The first happened while I was inside my room. Housekeeping repeatedly tried to enter by continuously tapping their key card on the door and aggressively pushing the handle. The only reason they couldn't get in was because I had engaged the security latch. When I opened the door, they simply looked at me and walked away. Later, the management apologized via WhatsApp and explained that the staff mistakenly thought they had left a key card inside my room.
After the first cleaning, the entire room smelled like dirty, damp cleaning cloths. I had to open all the windows and the balcony door to air it out, which suggests the room was cleaned with dirty mops or rags.
Another issue occurred after a later cleaning. Housekeeping left only two small face towels in the room and removed all the bath towels. I contacted reception and was told that new towels would be brought shortly. After waiting for two hours, I had to remind them again because they had completely forgotten about my request. The towels finally arrived about three hours later.
Aside from housekeeping, there are a couple of other issues worth mentioning. The bathrooms have no exhaust ventilation, so the only way to remove humidity is by opening the window, which lets insects fly into the room. Keeping the window closed, on the other hand, causes moisture to build up and will likely lead to mold over time.
The flooring also provides very poor impact insulation. In both rooms I stayed in, I could clearly hear every step from the guests above me. It often sounded as if someone was stomping around the room. This isn't the fault of other guests but rather a flaw in the building's construction.
Overall, the hotel has good potential thanks to its quiet location and comfortable rooms, but the housekeeping service and several maintenance issues need significant improvement.
