To be very honest. I love its location, as it faces Ben Thenh market, though i don't shop at all. Its breakfast is adequately sufficient with local, western style. Coffee, tea, fruits, water and milk available for easy going travelers.
Cab/Taxi is available at this location even for midnight/wee-hour flight. Just use Grab app.
Cleanliness is an issue. some room may stink a little from tobacco. (installation to mimic Japanese style, but fail terribly.
What i like about this hotel: location is surrounded by endless choices for foodie at local rate and also middle high (pubs, bars, steakhouse such as 'Soul').
What i don't like is the cleanliness issue.
What to watch out : It is quite often that local don't bother about cleanliness. And if foreign traveler asked for cleaning service, you might be charged extra.

Lucky me, I had an excellent view over Ben Than Market and surroundings. Top location and beakfast buffet was also excellent as in most hotel I have been in HCMC. Given that I had a promo rate, so nothing to complain, bed was comfortable and I had quiet nights. However, to be completed, I guess the last renovation of bath and rooms is a few years ago.

I booked the room with window , however the receptionist assigned with no window . The bathroom was old and outdated

The best about this hotel is location. It is very close to the main tourist sites, such as museums (see picture), markets, etc. However, the facilities are very dated. It was the most expensive hotel we paid in Vietnam, and at the same time it was the smallest room. The hotel is in front of a very famous market and it can become very noisy. Breakfast was a disappointment, the coffee was very cold, even if it was on a hot plate. The buffet selection was really limited. The pastries were soggy and the second day they didn't even put out any pastries. The room itself was comfortable, but small, and it felt humid inside. Personally, I wouldn't stay in this hotel again.
