amazing service and amazing hospitality

Well, it's literally a bungalow. The bathroom and shower room of the triangle house are shared, so be sure to know this before you go. The rest of the rooms have private shower rooms. The bathroom and food are fine, and it's good for relaxing. The water in the pool is a bit ㅡㅡ This is my personal opinion. Because other foreigners were swimming. If you think Koreans are scared of lizards or frogs or find them gross, I think it's better not to go. Search carefully for prices. They fluctuate a lot. That's the end.

Hotel service is good

Amazing stay in a beautiful and tranquil setting. So nice after the hustle and bustle of Hanoi to come to this absolute oasis!! All staff so helpful and friendly. Complimentary breakfast and coffee delicious and ample. Cute tour guide Bong the doggie!!!❤️ Bonus using pool to sister resort which is 2 min walk away✔️✔️✔️

The hosts and staff are all so wonderful, nice, and accommodating. They made us feel like friends or family and were extremely helpful in helping with transportation, tours, and all kinds of questions that we had. A kind lady gifted us some home grown bananas for our trip to the airport - just one of the little things. The location is tucked away in an area surrounded by mountains and nature and really allowed us to unplug. Fun interactions with the dogs at the property. We are there for several meals and everything was delicious (we are a group of both Viet and Americans for reference).

All I can say is wow. They truly make you feel like you're apart of the family. Always helpful and attentive. They can help arrange bike, scooter, taxi etc. Amazing location, amazing accomodations. Food was phenomenal. The owners are so joyful and happy to have you experience Trag An Lamia, and you can tell it's a real work of love and pride!

We loved our time at Lamia! We stayed for three nights in one of the bungalows, we ate breakfast everyday and ate in the restaurant four times. We were really grateful for the early check in after arriving in Ninh Binh on the overnight train. We had no problems getting grab taxis to and from Lamia, despite what is written in a review below saying grab do not go there. Being able to use bikes is a great experience. The area is peaceful and views are incredible. We loved the small private plunge pool and the very friendly staff. Thank you!

Leaving Trang An Lamia Bungalow quite disapointed. We had high expectations due to the good reviews of this place, but they were not met. Everytime we ordered something from the restaurant there were mistakes. Our orders were often forgotten or we’d recieve something random. This was really annoying as there were no other nearby alternatives for food… The bungalow was Nice and the staff was kind though.

Cannot speak highly enough of this place. It's a wonderful jungle retreat. The huts are very comfortable with aircon, en suites, a plunge pool and soft beds. Food is also superb with all the traditional Vietnamese dishes as well as Western options. The staff are incredibly obliging especially Candy who even taught us how to ride the automatic scooters. Have a go on the scooters, it's easy to learn, great fun and navigation a doddle with Google maps. The Hotel also has a swimming pool which was very welcome after a long day touristing!

When we arrived here we were a little surprised to find it so tucked away but we needn't have worried. Transport was easy to arrange and with regards eating, the food served here was excellent. Candy, who welcomed us and saw to our needs was very friendly and helpful. It really was a pleasure staying in such a beautiful place. They offer bikes free of charge if you fancy a ride out. Although we didn't experience one ourselves, others told us that the massages provided were great!

Kim, his friends and the entire staff were fantastic hosts. His home is absolutely stunning surrounded by tall mountains all around and a small pond in the middle. The rooms are beautifully done and very clean. The food was excellent and all special needs were met. Kim also gave his suggestion on what to do around ninh binh and provided the necessary services to plan day trips accordingly. Kim gives personal attention to all his guests and their requests. Staying at Kim’s home is an experience in itself which shouldn’t be missed. Also, they serve the best coffee.

Wonderful country side experience under the warm hospitality of owner Kim and his wife. Wish we had a 2nd night there but they are fully booked for the long weekend. The place is designed by Kim himself and has a very cosy village feel. They serve wonderful local food grown in their luscious garden.

What a great place to stay! Firstly we changed our hotel last minute at 10:00am. We arrived here to be complimented with a beautiful warm tea and breakfast! Was amazing in such a cold weather. The service was incredible, the views were amazing. We didn’t use the pool due to weather conditions; but it would be perfect in summer. we stayed in the delux bungalow and the bedroom was great size, very warm and the bathroom is a great feature. They offer free bicycle hire, or you can pay to hire a scooter. Which they’re very flexible with. Dinner service was delicious and very quick. They had the fire place going to keep us warm on the cold night as we ate in the outside patio dining area. The massage service was so relaxing and flexible to do it in the comfort of our warm room. They were even able to hire us transport to the next city for a very good price. Location is quite outside Ninh Binh, and on dirt road. But totally worth it. Do yourself a favour and book this!

The place was very unique and harmonious. The hotel blended perfectly with the surrounding nature, creating a pleasant atmosphere and making the stay unique. Great service and tasty food. She gave us a bunch of tips and helped to organize the day trip. Super !
