Reviews of Mercure Hotel

The hotel environment is quite good, and the location is excellent, right next to Qingcheng Park, offering great views from the room. The hotel facilities meet the Mercure standard, especially the breakfast, which is very rich. It includes Inner Mongolian specialties like shaomai, lamb offal noodles, authentic Mongolian milk tea, and various Chinese and Western breakfast options. Although the hotel is a bit old, the hygiene is still good. The only downside is the TV system, which constantly needs updating – a minor flaw, but it doesn't affect the overall experience. It's still highly recommended!

The hotel is conveniently located just 750 meters from Zhongshan Road Station on Metro Line 1, and only 2.6 km from Hohhot Railway Station. Hohhot Baita International Airport is about 15 km away, making commutes very efficient. It's also right next to Qingcheng Park, Dazhao Temple, Saishang Old Street, and Kuanxiangzi Food Street, so you can easily walk to all the old city attractions. Downstairs, you'll find Er'dun Hotpot, a popular local spot, and the area is packed with malls, restaurants, and convenience stores, making dining and getting around incredibly easy.

The environment is great, and it's convenient for getting around with plenty of good restaurants nearby, which I really enjoyed. The service was excellent. On Wednesday morning, I was rushing to catch my train around 9 AM and needed to pack two siu mai for breakfast. The lady at the siu mai stand was so thoughtful; she was worried I wouldn't have enough to eat and even suggested I pack some extra buns and vegetables. It was a really heartwarming gesture.

quite clean and very spacious room !! with room makeup services available !! good city view and is at quite a centralised location , with some bus stops around the vicinity or walking distances to tourist attractions like 内蒙古民族商场 on one side and 宽巷子 on the other side !! right beside is a park called 青城公园 and it is quite a pretty and big park , can do a short morning walk to start the day !!! can control the lights , curtains and screen conveniently as right beside the bed only !! the gym is a little small though !! but with sufficient equipments !!

Hohhot Mercure truly exceeded my expectations! The location is perfect, right next to Qingcheng Park, and about a 10-minute walk to Dazhao Temple and Saishang Old Street, making it a one-stop shop for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The high-rise lobby has a strong sense of design, incorporating grassland elements, making it great for photos. The rooms are smart and tidy, spacious, and soundproof. The garden-view rooms offer relaxing views of the park's greenery. The breakfast selection is rich, with freshly baked croissants, lamb offal soup, and 'Beizi' (local baked flatbread), all authentic in taste. The gym on the 31st floor has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city, creating a great atmosphere for workouts. The self-service laundry room with dryers is very convenient. Service was consistently excellent, with friendly and responsive front desk staff. The smart parking garage has charging stations, making it very friendly for those driving. Overall, both comfort and value for money are high. I highly recommend it!

This was my first stay at a Mercure hotel in Hohhot, and it lived up to the usual Mercure standards. The hotel is centrally located, close to various attractions and Kuan Alley. The room layout was well-designed and very practical. I'd especially like to commend Xiao Shen; her service was professional and enthusiastic, and she helped us out a lot. Looking forward to staying here again!

I was very satisfied with my trip this time. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. Seeing that I had two elderly family members in their eighties and nineties, they proactively upgraded our room. The garden view was beautiful, with a lovely lake. The breakfast and late-night snacks were a real highlight; breakfast offered a wide variety, and the late-night snacks were substantial enough to fill you up. This hotel offers excellent value for money. Located right in the city center, it's very convenient for transportation, with plenty of dining, accommodation, and transport options nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay.

Room Type: This room is absolutely perfect for families! Upon entering, there's a small foyer (which we didn't photograph because we made a mess of it, haha). There's a master bedroom with a double bed and an attached bathroom, a smaller bedroom with a single bed (and it seems the sofa bed in this room can also be pulled out). Plus, there's another large bathroom with two sinks, which is incredibly convenient! The views from the bedrooms are also fantastic, you can see the details in the pictures~ (Didn't get many full shots because the bed was a bit messy). Amenities: There are TVs in the foyer and both bedrooms, three in total, so the whole family can watch whatever they want, lol. Having two bathrooms is also very convenient; no need to fight for the toilet in the morning. Service: Every morning, they provide a small plate of fruit, and they're always my favorite kinds. It's clear they put a lot of thought into it! The breakfast area also has a wonderful ambiance, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer such a great view! (See picture 5) Location: The hotel is right on the main commercial street, next to a large Qingcheng Park, and very close to Kuan Alley. It's also super convenient to get to the Great Mosque and Dazhao Street. Getting anywhere is a breeze! If my family comes to Hohhot again, we'll definitely stay here~

This is my second stay here, the last time being in 2023. The room is still great, with an excellent view and a good floor. I had a very pleasant stay, and I hope they continue to maintain their high standards.

Not bad at all! The location is great, with lots of businesses nearby which is super convenient. The hotel's front desk service was also very good.
