Hotel Zugbruecke Grenzau

Unbelievable good hotel, rooms are very good, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is stunning, you better ask, what is not there, eggs, bacon, donuts, yoghurt.....you name it. Diner is also very good, I was there for business. I will visit Zugbrucke Grenzau again and then with my wife.

Hotel Zugbrucke Grenzau was a great hotel with a wonderful breakfast and friendly staff. The rooms were nice and the atmosphere was incredible. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone in the area.

+ Easy parking, nice surroundings, close to transport hubs, good service, pleasant, comfortable room To improve: In the evening, an unpleasant smell almost on the entire ground floor from the kitchen, most intense at the side entrance to the hotel (cleaning the kitchen?). To improve: sometimes inattentive staff in the restaurant (e.g. they do not remove used dishes from the tables in time)

We enjoyed the stay @ Zugbruecke hotel. We played table-tennis and stayed for 2 nights. Only lunch and diner buffet was less extensive and less quality food. This was a disappointment compared to many earlier stays that we had at this hotel. Also, the most expensive room was very noisy.

Hotel is in a great location and the service overall was excellent. The walls are unfortunately too thin, I could hear the shower of multiple other rooms very loud, like they were using the shower from my bedroom. My room was also close to the stairs and I could hear any movement there. After 23:00 it was fortunately mostly quiet.

the hotel & the room were ok. the rooms were not ready at 20:00. they supose to be readt at 15:00. the breakfast was ok at least 2 days the food was not fresh. they use the rest of the food for the next day. like fruits, smoke fish.....

The room was just fine. Great to have a sauna etc. just around the corner. And what to say about the food, those 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 in the kitchen know what they're doing! Had to take care not to eat to much, so delicious! Would be great to come back here!

I was there for 2 nights on business and the location is really nice. But the room was very small with a single bed (good for kids but I'm not!!!) and it was the only one right next to the lift. So it's very noisy every time someone enters or leaves the elevator. And also when people go down or up from another floor. As everything is tiled, you can hear the footsteps, it's very loud and you can hear all the conversations. Also, the wifi connection in the room is really weak (even disappearsfrom time to time) as well as the mobile phone signal. No 4G and only EDGE! I wanted to watch the Champions League match with Munich but none of the "free channels" were showing the match and the hotel doesn't offer satellite channels! And very few foreign channels for that matter. Which is not nice if you don't speak German. So, because of the weak wifi signal, I couldn't watch the game on my computer. And careful with the restaurant who refuses to serve you from 8h50pm. Nice evening as you can imagine in this 10sqm room for children. And last but not least, for the first time in my life (and I sleep almost every 2 weeks in hotels all over the world), I was surprised to find my room not cleaned after my 1st night. In summary, it was not a nice experience to stay in this hotel that my supplier had warmly recommended to me. And the hotel knows very well my supplier (a big machine manufacturer from the area) because it recommends it every time and makes its foreign employees sleep as well. So doubly surprised and disappointed with the service offered.
