Reviews of D Central Hoi An Homestay

A great location and a friendly family business. Washing was provided and bikes, also, which was a highlight to experience the rural areas and adventure beyond walking distance and without the need for transport.

I came Vietnam with my mom. It is good enough for stay here. Convenient and not far from tourists spot.

As other reviews says it is overbooked and need to go to different place. However it is still cheap and not far as I expected. I just want hotel be more honest. Even for the hotel I have to move to it is still value for money. I think this is not called cheating in Vietnam and should not have high expectations. Not developed country yet.

Good service and clean.

The staff here are very good, friendly, clean rooms, complete equipment, but there was a slight problem with checking in. The accommodation tried to solve the problem and provide full support.

This was the worst thing that happened to me in Vietnam. We were driving from Da Nang to Hoi Ai by car, having checked the validity of the reservation in advance. Upon arrival at D Central, the manager informed us that our reservation was cancelled (the status on Trip.com was "Confirmed"). The manager informed us that we had to wait a little while they would find us another place to stay. While we were waiting, 2 companies arrived and were checked in immediately. In the end, we were taken to another Homestay, which is further from the night market, which was very disappointing. And yes, our reservation was confirmed and the accommodation was paid in full. I do not recommend this homestay

A very good family hotel, the owner Yan is warm and welcoming, and the breakfast is delicious.

I booked this hotel for my friend and her daughter because it is within walking distance from the Hoi An center. When they checked in they were informed that the room was not available they had to move to another hotel 1,5 km distant from the city center without warning about this change in advance. My friend accepted but the day after she was asked to move back to Central Hoi An Homestay even she did not want to change the hotel again because they just stayed in Hoi an for 2 nights, they don't want to stay in 2 different places, pack and unpack the baggages, but hotel staff said to her that she had to move because the room was not available for the day after. If they do not have the room available for 2 consecutive days, they can't sell it on booking and treat the customer by sending to their hotel where the room is available, especially they are from overseas at the check-in moment they had no choice to accept whatever they offer after a long journey, even they made an discount of 4 USD, but the concept is that they want to stay at the hotel that they have chosen and booked and they are not sastified. This behavior on booking is absolutely not acceptable, it is cheat

Clean Homestay with great location. It's very close to the ancient town. The guest family is very friendly and helpful. Two things to note: it gets very hot in the upper rooms, and since it's so close to the ancient town, it can be a little bit loud at night.

Susan and her family were absolutely amazing. Their generosity, attentiveness, and recommendations were more than we could have expected. The suite was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, the location was perfect. One block from the bustling night market, the lantern lit riverside, gorgeous bridge and tour information booth. Not to mention all of our favourite places were located within walking distance to Susan’s. On our next trip to Hoi An, we will not stay anywhere else except for Susan’s homestay. Thank you so much!!!

Susan and her Family were very friendly and informative. Location of the homestay is so close to the night market and the famous bridge that it hardly takes a minute to reach there. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. She also gave us recommendations for food and famous places to visit. Overall, the experience was very good.

I had a wonderful time in this homestay. Susan - the owner - was so nice and helpful in every situation. I could always count on her. She was the reason why I decided to stay 3 days longer. She organized for me the taxis (for good local prices) and gave many great advices which made my stay even more comfortable. When I got sick once Susan was like a family, she was taking care of everything, cooked for me and made sure I had enough to eat and drink. The location is very practical. It ist close to the old town of Hoy An, so you can get there in 2 minutes. But the homestay is in the back side, so it less noisy as in the center of the old town. The rooms are clean and have everything what needed. The breakfast was very good too. I was happy with the stay and can definitely recommend this place. If I come back to Hoy An, I will definitely visit Susan again. Thank you so much for the great stay!

Just like all the other reviews mentioned, the family is super nice and helpful. They sent message to offer help with transportation etc. almost immediately after my booking. My grab stopped working right when I was going to get a ride to Hui An from Da Nang so I reached out to them, and within 2 minutes, they found a driver that picked me up in 10 minutes. The room is spacious and clean. The homestay is right next to a massage/spa and super close to restaurants, bars, the night market but on a quiet street. They also have local recommendations ready and offer quick laundry service. Very good value.

The best ever homestay. The family are so nice and helpful. The room was basic but so clean. Hot water and a/con were good. Breakfast was basic but really nice. Close to all attractions with free bicycles. I’ll definitely come back again
