Chillax Old Town Villa
4.6/514 Reviews
My stay at Chillax Old Town turned into an absolute nightmare when the shower screen suddenly exploded, leaving me with glass shards embedded in my arms and feet. Shocked and in pain, I had to remove them myself before reluctantly seeking medical help at a dismal facility, Ho An Hospital. The hospital's grim condition—mold, mildew, and rusted medical utensils—amplified the distress of the situation. Adding insult to injury, although the hotel covered my post-hospitalization costs, they callously refused to compensate for the damage inflicted on my personal belongings by the shower screen explosion. Even when I suggested they cover the excess from my travel insurance instead of the exorbitant repair costs, they cited financial inability, despite boasting four business partners. Their promise to chase up the builders for an explanation is simply not enough. Immediate action is imperative, especially with ongoing guests on the premises. The sheer irony of a hotel named 'Chillax' being the center of such chaos is incredibly astounding. Their blatant disregard for guest safety and well-being is utterly appalling. I strongly caution against considering this hotel for anyone valuing peace of mind and personal safety. The thought of a potential recurrence of a shower explosion at any hotel now lingers in my mind, thanks to this distressing experience. The lack of accountability and care displayed by Chillax Old Town, including their failure to cover damages to personal items, is nothing short of unacceptable. PS: the hotel receptionists were trying to assist where possible. However they are only messengers.
Little Hoi An . A Boutique Hotel & Spa

I love this boutique hotel. Warm hospitality, helpful staff and cute room. Morden design with Hoi An cultural elements. The hotel is located next to the river, few minutes to the night market and everything else. Popular location but not to noisy. They also have free shuttle bus to the beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Hoi An. 😍

I would like to recommend a hotel near Hoi An Own town “ Volar De Faifo Villa” 🏩❤️ We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is in a great location. We stay in the family room 203 the room is quite big we stay 3 people don’t feel uncomfortable at all. The room full of facilities, modern and clean, better than I expected for the price. Staffs can speak English and very helpful. Breakfast is great, hot pancake, omlette, & Pho. Location is great, just few minutes walk to the Old town. 🇻🇳 Highly recommend!! #hotelreview #HoiAn #hotelinhoian
Emerald Hoi An Riverside Resort

Good location and a quiet oasis with a nice pool, well manicured gardens and pedestrian rooms that have seen better days, but still just about pass muster. The gym is an ancient relic...broken machines, no water or aircon... they need to fix this. Breakfast was very good... and staff officious but friendly. Little annoyances like, ”we can only spare one extra pillow, not two” are more funny than anything else. One for any shortlist when visiting Hoi An.
Vinh Hung Riverside Resort & Spa

I like this hotel because it is close to the night market by the Tubang River. This is a bit of an antique, so I think this is a favorite place. The garden is beautifully decorated and provides free local service in the afternoon, free coffee class and free sunset boat. It is close to the old town and night market, so it is easy to go out and return to the hotel. If you visit again, I will try to choose River View^^
Truc Loc Villa

We arrived super early in the morning after a sleeper bus and lovely Cindy was there to welcome us. They had a room pre-made up for us to sleep in for a few hours before properly checking into our room later. This was so kind and haven’t had that treatment from any other accom in Vietnam. Nana was also so lovely, gave us plenty of great recommendations for seeing in the town and local places to eat. We also borrowed the bikes to cycle to the beach and they gave us a beach bag with some towels and water etc which was an amazing wee treat. The villa is in a great location and the staff make it all the better for staying there. Thank you Nana & Cindy, yous are the best!
