Hotel Casa Barbara Holbox

We stayed in Casa Barbara during Christmas festivities 2023 for two nights via AIRBNB. When we were to sleep, we realize that the hair dresses of his own step, that hair of a different color and texture from ours are on the ears and that blood stacks were present ... the reason? bed punishes! (Bedbugs) We find bed punishes directly from us once in bed !!! We are therefore going directly to the reception (about midnight at this time), and we are surprised to see that the reception is closed and that no one keeps the hotel, reception, or security, The hotel is a very good hotel, and it is a good hotel. The receptionists had nothing to do with it, we were shocked, so we canceled our second night and made the keys, without excuses or solution for us from Casa Barbara. Airbnb did not repay us last night despite the evidence of the punishes and the pricks and told us Casa Baraba had to repay us, except they never answered our messages, neither during the night nor after! The hotel has a very good quality of the bed and the hotel has a very bad quality. On Airbnb, no comments over 4 months are visible, and afterwards we saw another comment on bed punishments that date from a few weeks earlier. Casa Barbara does not do anything to solve the situation and continues to rent its rooms despite health problems ... No more!

We had an amazing stay in the hotel and a perfect experience with the restaurant! I would strongly recommend and we certainly will come back. The rooftop pool and chilled vibe offers a great alternative for days off the beach. And great interior design The rooms are super clean and spacious and the hotel location is perfect.

We have spent 3 nights there. I read that people complain about noise... well it can be noisy but that is Mexico. No soundproof rooms... what they expect these complaining tourists. It was a very cozy and clean room. Beds are very comfortable, shower is great. Staff is friendly and it was one of the few place with a good WiFi connection. The swimming pool is been cleaned every day. They really take good care of that place.
