The food is delicious in the restaurant. I had warm vegetable salad and 3 different breakfasts so far. The outdoor area at the restaurant is gorgeous. I have my own sky box for recording which suits me a lot as I'm here a week. The perfect choice. I love the colorful artwork in the interior.

The Tides is made up almost entirely of airbnb apartments (we stayed in one). Strange setup where it's difficult and costly to get building and parking access. pros: Staff is great - they have to deal with hordes of transient airbnb visitors each day. The pool is nice and the beach is beautiful and can be walked for miles. For our needs (one airbnb unit replacing two or three hotel rooms), it was a good deal. cons: Tons of fees for key fobs to get you into the building and parking. Strange setup where the office is only open 9 - 5 and you have to wait some time to get all of the access devices and pay the fees. Few restaurants around. advice: Need to rent a car and pay the exorbitant parking fees - cabs would be too costly. Make sure to understand the total cost up front and if it's much less (half price?) vs a decent hotel then this is worth it.

Lovely Unit Inez had it stocked, clean and nice. Pool was awful, crowded with Chair Hogs who left towels on the chairs all day and night to keep them . When after a few days I saw this I took pictures with my phone and 30 min. Later I took a chair and laid their on the ground. They were never at the pool . Sign said NO saving Chairs over 30 min. Others started catching on too. Security is very lax. Laundry and Elevators were good as long as people didn’t let their kids play with the buttons on elevator. Good price, convenient location.

Worse then you can imagine. It’s an old condo building trying to be a hotel. Elevators broken, lobby is in disrepair, literally water falling from the ceiling into a bucket in the lobby. Place looks like it’s been banged up pretty bad. Dealing with caretaker is nightmare. Please don’t stay there, take your money to a real hotel not this wannabe ABNB. I would give it zero stars if I could. Entire experience was aggravation and disappointment.

The management is completely rude plus charges you $7 for any Amazon package or mail item arriving to the building. There is NO valet service, just a guy that sits in a chair, is on his cell phone and points you to the parking area. One elevator seems to break every week. The back entry to the management offices is needing paint and a cleanup. If you take the steps, they are just as dingy and need painted. There are not enough pool chaises and many are moldy or broken. There are many 2 chairs at the pool. They charge $30 for a key fob and everything you do requires a fob so get ready to pay! Check in is a mess. I was here for 7 weeks and I’ll never return.

I had a very frustrating experience checking into this complex. Complex parking and access to apartment. Very "CLASSLESS ". People were nice but troubled with check in process and access to beach. The check in process brought us to a "basement" type atmosphere. Only way to exit ir enter is with a fob .

I was working at a convention at The Diplomat in December but they were all out of rooms so I had to find a close-by location. The Tides was only a few buildings away so I selected that as my place to stay the week I was there. When I arrived at The Tides, I noticed that the toilet was running when I entered the unit. I entered the bathroom and jiggled the handle and it would eventually stop running. That would occur every time I used the bathroom the week I was there. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning. I entered the bedroom and attempted to turn on my TV. The remote was missing the cover for the batteries and it had electrical tape holding the batteries in place. I removed the tape and attempted to reposition the batteries to get a better connection. This did not work so I contacted management and they informed me that they would replace the TV for me at noon the next day. When I returned to my room at 8:30 pm the next day, the remote was still sitting next to the TV. I tried to power up the TV but it wouldn't work so I contacted management. They responded promptly and sent someone to my room. He looked at the remote and placed it inside the dresser drawer (what was he saving it for?) and he went in the living room and found a different remote that was next to the living room TV. That was the fix. I appreciated the quick response from management. The bathroom sink drained slowly, so I learned to run the water at a rate where the drain could keep up with the flow of water. When I took a shower I noticed there were plenty of towels but NO washcloths. Even odder, there was only ONE bar of soap that they gave me which presumably covered the bathroom sink, the shower, and the kitchen sink. No extras? Really??? Apparently, not having any spares was the standard way they prepped for guests. The toilet paper was a fresh roll when I arrived but it was the only roll of toilet paper that was in the unit. I checked inside the vanity, in the linen closet, and any other logical place where there may be an extra roll - but none was to be found. I was at The Tides from Sunday to Friday and I'm proud to say that I timed the toilet paper just right as I ran out the day I was leaving. The week that I stayed there, they were testing the fire alarm every day from Tuesday till Friday between 10am and 5pm. They left notices on our doors letting us know if the personnel doing the testing wanted access to our rooms, please allow them access. I had to work remotely on several days so I had to endure the sound of the fire alarm going off every 5 minutes (no exaggeration) during those hours. I was on several phone calls and a few Teams calls where they asked me what that noise was that they were hearing. I explained that it was not a real fire but that they were testing the alarm the week I was there. Had I known this in advance, I would have selected another location. On one occasion, I had left my room and I could not get back i

Let´s separate the items: Location: Perfect. Close to a Walmart and other stores. Next to the beach. very nice buidling. Apartment: Comfortable. Not too dark in the bedroom (we actually complained about that because at 7 am the room was very sunny). Well equiped. People in the building: We stayed in apartment 5C of the 3901 tower. Our next door neighbour was a person that could not bear the crying of a 2 year old baby. So she kept banging the wall (drywall, by the way). So our baby was even more stressed and kept crying. Also she came to our door and started banging. So if you ever think about going DO NOT GO TO APARTMENT 5C !!! Hope this helps
