The Tides Condo with 2 bedrooms and direct beach access, pool in Hollywood FL

Great Option For a Beach Getaway, Mostly The property was great for my friends and I. It has 3 large beds, which is hard to find. There were plenty of amenities (coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, large fridge, etc…). There are plenty of beach towels and beach chairs which was a nice touch. The location is ok. You are right on the beach but there aren’t many other attractions within a short walking distance. There are 2 restaurants across the street but that’s about it. You can however Uber up to the boardwalk area in about 5 minutes or to downtown Hollywood in about 10. There are also grocery stores and a Walmart a short drive away. I will also say the hosts were very nice and easy to get in touch with. My complaint is that the vibe is just kind of weird. I was aware of the parking fee and key fob fee ahead of time but I was also told I had to have $20 in cash that they would refund to me upon returning the parking pass. I was also told that my two friends and I had to wear resort bracelets the entire time we were there and could not remove them. There are also tons of odd rules posted all over the building (no unloading of luggage at the front door, luggage has to be brought up in a separate elevator, no beach wear allowed in the building). I’m assuming this has to do with the fact that most people in the building are residents and they don’t want the vacationers disturbing them. I understand this but it also makes you feel really awkward. Luckily, it seemed like none of the rules were strictly enforced.

Great location Wonderful location with a nice mini mart/sandwich shop on the premises. Convenient parking. Nice pool adjacent to the beach. The apartment was very comfortable with everything you needed.
