QqiannanwgExtremely satisfied! I rarely write such long reviews. The owners are absolutely wonderful! The female owner is so kind, and the male owner is adorable! They took us stargazing and to see the moonlit silver mountains, then in the morning, they showed us the 'sunlit golden mountains' (sunrise on the snow-capped peaks). They also provided pick-up and drop-off services. The room was amazing, with great quality and aesthetic appeal, and it even had an elevator. The location is convenient for getting anywhere, but it's not in a noisy area. There's a large parking lot with many charging stations. Seriously, just book it, ladies!
GGuest UserFirst off, I really loved the room's layout and decor. It came with underfloor heating and oxygen supply, which was a nice touch. The common areas were also very cozy and inviting.
Secondly, the service was excellent! Every staff member was kind, thoughtful, and proactive in resolving any issues. They offer a lovely afternoon tea on the 5th floor, and breakfast was plentiful.
The biggest highlight is being able to see the snow-capped mountains right from your bed. You can also capture the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' phenomenon from the 5th-floor terrace, where they have plenty of tripods ready for use.
It's about a 30-minute drive to Feilai Temple, passing through Deqin County.
I usually don't leave reviews, but I had to for this one because I really enjoyed it and wanted to provide a reference for future travelers.
HHittitesThe location is fantastic, with a perfect view directly facing Mount Meili. Kawa Garbo is to the right and front, and there are no obstructions from the third floor upwards. The view from the second floor is actually pretty good too, and even the White Pagoda has its own charm. The public areas also offer great views. Since there aren't many rooms, it never feels crowded. The service is excellent and very welcoming. Room amenities are thoughtfully provided, and the food service is also very good. The overall decor is stylish, and there's a butler service offering various activities. If only your cat employee were a bit more enthusiastic!
PparaworldThe room was spotless, and the 1.2-meter single bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of options. The hotel staff were all warm and professional. The staff on the 4th-floor viewing platform, in particular, were outstanding; they taught us how to capture beautiful photos of the scenery. The butler service group was incredibly responsive. The hotel is located near the Wunongding viewing platform, so you don't have to brave the early morning cold to see Meili Snow Mountain; you can see it directly from the 4th floor. We were so lucky this time, from January 25th to 27th, we saw the breathtaking 'Sunrise over Golden Mountain' (Rizhao Jinshan) of Meili Snow Mountain for two days, as well as the 'Sunset over Silver Mountain' on the first day. The two documentaries shown at night, ”Kawa Karpo” and ”The Salt Road,” were fascinating. The small gift we received upon check-out was lovely.
However, the dinner selection was uninspiring, and the portions were small. For instance, the stir-fried Pipa pork with matsutake had very little meat and mushrooms, but a lot of green onions. I hope they can improve this aspect!
GGuest UserThis place was the perfect base for my Yubeng trip, and the location is simply unbeatable. I could lie in bed and watch the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' phenomenon on Shennv Peak, and opening the window revealed panoramic views of Yubeng Lower Village. The changing scenery of the snow-capped mountains and the village, from day to night, became part of my room's vista. What truly impressed me was how thoughtful the owner was, understanding the needs of hikers. Upon check-in, I received a generous hiking supply kit, refreshing fruit, and even a ceremonial hiking medal, which instantly melted away the fatigue of my journey. After my hike, there was warm ginger tea to ward off the cold and a foot bath to soothe my tired muscles. Plus, a clingy little cat would snuggle on my lap, making all the altitude sickness and aches vanish in that moment.
In the evening, sitting by the fire, chatting with pilgrims from all over about their travel stories, and listening to the wind and snow outside – that's the most captivating charm of Yubeng. Next time I visit Yubeng, this will definitely be my top choice again!
GGuest UserSuper nice location, just right at the entrance of lower Yubeng and beside the popular cafe/restaurant Elimwood. Nearest to the entrance of the sacred waterfall and sacred lake trial as well. You’d be at the heart at everything exciting when you stay here. If you take the Mountain View room, the amazing sunrise and sunset is just out your window, though there’s some construction outside currently. Cute kittens to accompany you in the lobby. If you are here during winter, be careful on the last flight of stairs to the accommodation. It’s metal so it gets icy and slippery especially in the mornings. Also, the house on the first floor is someone’s home, so don’t make the same mistake as us and go into their home uninvited :) The accommodations is right there when you finish climbing the short flight of stairs!
ZZhixiao-The room was fantastic, with a balcony directly overlooking the snow-capped mountains. They thoughtfully provided two foot bath tubs. We were quite tired upon arrival at the village, and soaking our feet completely refreshed us, making us ready to head straight to the glacial lake the very next day – what a thoughtful touch! The chicken soup noodles were delicious, and the packed lunch they provided for our journey was great too. The resident cat was adorable!
GGuest UserThe room is spacious and comfortable, with an excellent location, facing the snow-capped mountains. The next morning, the sun shone on the golden mountain, bringing a huge visual shock
Hua Zong specially arranged a special car to welcome us to the store, and carefully prepared breakfast, road meals and dinner, which were convenient and delicious. He also prepared hiking poles, crampons, etc., which came in handy when hiking on the ice lake line👍👍
May your home in the distance prosper and have a bright future🎉🎉
May Hua Zong weigh everything he gets, and weigh more than sugarcane💪💪
MM485771****I struck gold with this amazing B&B for my Yubeng trip! First off, the views are absolutely unbeatable. Every morning, I'd wake up, pull back the curtains, and there were the snow-capped mountains right in front of me. In the evenings, I'd catch stunning sunsets. Just sitting anywhere felt incredibly peaceful. Now, I have to give a special shout-out to the front desk attendant – her service was genuinely fantastic! She was so enthusiastic and thoughtful, helping us with our luggage, getting our room sorted, and even proactively sharing some lesser-known Yubeng tips with us. She reminded us what to bring for our hikes and even managed to reserve a room with our preferred orientation. She was incredibly attentive throughout our stay, and it made us feel so welcome. I truly recommend this place; great views, great service, and an all-around perfect experience!
GGuest UserGreat spot! Located just on the side of Yubeng that's on the way to the glacier lake trail. Views from rooms were amazing. There's also multiple laundry machines for people traveling with limited amounts of hiking clothes. There were always several staff members onsite to assist with whatever you may need. Food from the hotel's restaurant was diverse, affordable and tasty.
