MM48376****Absolutely loved this B&B! The room had everything you could possibly need, even multiple nozzles for the hairdryer, including a diffuser for curly hair. The shower had a massage spray, which was fun to use at the end.
The owners were incredibly welcoming. We came back to the B&B for dinner after enjoying the 'four dishes and one soup' night view, and the food Auntie cooked was delicious! While waiting for the chicken soup, I chatted and had tea with the owner at the front desk, and even ended up buying some of their really nice tea.
For breakfast, they provided steamed buns, siu mai, plain buns, congee, and a warm, tasty peanut milk drink, all portioned according to the number of guests.

GGuest UserThis is one of the best homestay experiences that I ever had. The homestay is located in Taxia Village which is quieter and less commercialized in Tulou scenic areas that provide lots of privacy for the guests. The room and the building are located just next to the clear water stream. At night, I can even hear the stream of water flowing sounds. The villagers are very friendly to the tourists walking around. They are not pushy about selling any commercial products to tourists which is very contrast to the other commercializedTulou scenic areas. The owner/host is very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. This differentiates from the other hotel staying experience. I also got help on how to get around the Tulou scenic areas and where to get reasonable price restaurants from the host.

BB.tayThis place is a gem! Located in Taxia village, rooms are above a wine brewery. It is very clean, comfortable & cosy, equipped with heater (it’s winter) brightly lit if you’re looking to stay at the hakka village. The village itself is very beautiful both during the day and night. The owner is kind and polite who waited for us despite a very late check-in. We had a taste of her Chinese wine after dinner and they were all very good! I especially liked the plum and white wine. Bought them and they were packed nicely to withstand air travels. Highly recommended place to stay, a nice experience staying here! Wished we had more time. For breakfast you can go to the restaurant opposite which served very nice dishes. The villagers are very friendly too!

EErererererererererererereryeOur little one wanted to see 'A Yuan's Home,' so we brought the picture book and came to stay. This guesthouse is located within the Tianluokeng Tulou Scenic Area in Nanjing. It's easy to find if you're driving, and personally, I found it even better than the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area – fewer crowds and stunning scenery. It's also very close to Taxia Village, which you can reach by cycling or walking. There, you can visit the 700-year-old Yuchang Lou, famously standing 'crooked but firm,' and grab a meal at the Xiaogqiao Liushui Restaurant. Just a heads-up if you're driving, be mindful of parking restrictions. Getting to Tianluokeng's iconic 'Four Dishes and One Soup' cluster is also super convenient, just a ten-minute drive. The Tulou are truly magnificent!
The guesthouse hostess is incredibly nice, and they have a lovely Golden Retriever named Xiao Chai, who is very friendly and well-behaved. We booked a duplex room with a living area downstairs and the sleeping area upstairs. It even came with a projector, which was a huge bonus! But the real highlight was the in-room washer-dryer combo – such a thoughtful and convenient amenity!

GGuest UserStaying at ”Nanjing Tulou Yunlai Mountain Villa”, the beautiful boss was very enthusiastic, and also upgraded the room, and told us the best route to visit the attractions. What made me feel the deepest was the boss's enthusiasm. Although breakfast, lunch and dinner are home-cooked dishes, they taste very good, and the ingredients are all green foods. The most commendable thing is that I do not slaughter guests. In addition, the villa is the closest to the four dishes and one soup attraction, and it is also the highest mountain view. It is very convenient to take night views at night. The most important thing is that it is especially convenient for self-driving parking. There are plenty of free parking spaces. It is worth recommending to everyone.

GGuest UserI originally planned a one-day trip to Taxia Village, but I stayed there for two days because of the boss's enthusiasm, sincerity, and the environment of the village. Friends who like quietness and leisure should not miss Taxia Village. The temperature is suitable, cool, very original and not very commercialized. The Firefly we stayed at this time is a store run by the couple with great care. We also let the boss arrange the food at Firefly. We told the boss how many people can eat and what the budget is, so we can go out and play with peace of mind. The meal in the picture only costs 200 yuan, tastes great and is very filling! ! What I like most is that there is a large platform to dry clothes, and you can lie on a chair and watch the stars in the sky at night! You can also see a lot of fireflies in June and July! A very satisfying stay! I will come again 🥰

GGuest UserGreat place to stay. Authentic Tulou. The lady who runs the hotel was very friendly and helpfull. She also told us some intersting things about the Tulou and let us taste her homegrown tea. The rooms are basic but nice.
The hotel is within a Tulou 'themepark'/touristtrap for which it is required to pay 90 rmb per person to get in and in order to reach the hotel. The ticket office for foreigners is about 2-3 km away.

YYixuebingfengThe room was fantastic! Seeing that we had two kids with us, the hotel upgraded us to a 'Drunken Dream' room, which had a 2-meter king bed plus a 1.2-meter small bed, a small living room, and a balcony. It was absolutely perfect. They even added an electric heater for us in the evening, so it wasn't cold at all; the kids could walk barefoot on the wooden floor and it was still warm. The restaurant's food was delicious too, a little pricier than outside, but the quality and ambiance were worth it. Roasting sweet potatoes by the fire and watching movies in the evening was also great. It would be even better if they could offer roasted milk tea or something similar. The surroundings are lovely as well; the hotel is nestled by mountains and water. Sitting in the courtyard with a coffee and a book was just perfect. Lying in bed at night, listening to the gentle gurgle of the stream, I fell asleep instantly. All in all, it's perfect for those who love a secluded, tranquil, and beautiful hotel stay.

The decoration is in a nostalgic campus style, but the hardware facilities are not outdated. You can see the subtle care that the owner put into the room design. There will be several modes of room lighting to suit various needs. The wet and dry partitions in the bathroom are relatively reasonable, and the sewers are smooth and do not accumulate water. The water heater has a large capacity, so you can take a comfortable bath without any problem. It has its own parking lot and is very convenient for self-driving. The location of the B&B is very close to the viewing platform of Four Dishes and One Soup, which has the advantage of seeing the lights and entering the village at night. The landlady usually drinks tea in the front hall. When you pass by and she is free, she will invite you to drink tea and chat with her. The boss will tell you about travel strategies when he has free time, and even take you for a walk in person.
