CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!

GGuest UserThe kids loved the room and played in the little tent for a long time. However, this type of room always has soundproofing issues. Most people who come here are out early and back late, which affected our sleep a bit. The breakfast selection was quite limited, and the kitchen hygiene was just okay.

SStar(星星）It was a wonderful cozy stay not far from the Disneyland, with nice playground and unusual furniture.
The hotel provided us with a free shuttle bus to Shanghai Disney Resort (both back and forth). They are also providing services to get from and to to Pudong Airport but we had to depart from Hongqiao, so the staff helped us order cheaper taxi to Shanghai Hongqiao airport.
The people there were warm and smiling. We could buy special Disney head wears in the hotel and instant noodles there. There was mini storage of foods and products so we didn’t have to look for markets around (not sure if there were any for Disney Resort is a bit outside the city center).
We loved the stay with our whole family, the breakfast was homey and tasty too. The rooms had ACs that made it warm to stay in January, the coldest time in Shanghai.
If I go back there, totally returning to this hotel⭐️

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, within walking distance to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and it's very convenient to get to the Bund from there. Taxis are also readily available. The room had an amazing view and was very clean, with a great ambiance. The butler was incredibly welcoming and even upgraded our room. We could also enjoy the stunning night view of the Oriental Pearl Tower and watch the sunrise.

The bedrooms appear bright and airy thanks to large windows. You have a variety of setups shown, from sleek black leather headboards to classic white frames. The bedding looks clean, though the rooms are currently shown in a ”lived-in” state with luggage and personal items. The inclusion of blackout curtains is a major plus for travelers needing a good night's rest.
3. Bathroom Facilities
The bathroom is definitely a highlight. It is split into two styles across the photos:
• The Shower Suite: Features a modern rain shower head and sleek grey tiling.
• The Tub Suite: Includes a beautiful freestanding soaking tub, which adds a luxury feel to the stay.
• Note: The tiling and fixtures look high-end and well-maintained.
4. Space & Layout
For an urban stay, the rooms seem reasonably spacious. There is enough floor space to open large suitcases (as seen in the photos) without blocking the walkway. The ”hidden” storage/shelving behind the bed in one room is a clever use of space.
5. Cleanliness
From the images, the apartment looks very well-kept. The floors are polished, the bathroom grout looks clean, and the furniture shows no obvious signs of wear and tear.

EEsthersngOverall, the stay was comfortable and pleasant. The self check-in process was easy and convenient, which made the arrival smooth.
The location is definitely a plus. It’s within walking distance to Nanjing Road, with plenty of food options and convenience stores along the way. The night view by the riverside is also beautiful, perfect for a relaxing evening walk.
However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The lighting near the room entrance could be brighter — one of the rooms had no light at the door, making visibility quite poor.

The location is also amazing!
❌ You can hear neighbors if they are not very quiet, in my room I had a bathtub, but didn’t have a shower (that wasn’t a problem for me). And the biggest ⛔️ the room is quite moldy, especially behind the curtains.
I would recommend for a short trip, to enjoy the bathtub and good location, especially if you are planning to be there only during the night. For longer trips I’m concerned about the mold behind the curtains, specific smell and that neighbors can disturb you. Anyway, good variation for this amount!

GGuest UserThe location of the B&B is great, close to Yu Garden and the Bund. The food at the Wufang Noodle Restaurant downstairs is also quite affordable. However, the environment doesn't look very nice. The front desk can be a bit aggressive, with frequent arguments. The king-size room was okay, but lacked amenities, and the guest was rushed to check out very early. It's a mixed bag. Public transportation in Shanghai is a struggle, and navigation is a struggle. I still rely on Didi, otherwise I'll be walking 2 kilometers in minutes. The double-decker bus stops are hard to find.
