GGuest UserThis was our first time vacationing in Xiamen, Fujian. Due to short time confirmation , we had to confirm the hotel accommodation in midnight . But this guesthouse was surprised.
First, it’s located on 37th floor with a sea view, offering a peaceful and scenic environment. The unique unit features a large indoor bathtub, which is quite impressive. The room is equipped with a projector, a Dyson hairdryer, and an automatic toilet. The bathroom shower has stable hot and cool water with powerful pressure. The guesthouse service was sufficient to meet the needs of two people; since our trip was 3 days and 2 nights, they provided extra daily necessities and toiletries. They also gave special recommendations for nearby takeout food options and transportation, so there was no worry about being unfamiliar with the area.
Some key points need to be considered, if you are visiting Xiamen Island mainly for sightseeing and have specific time and transport requirements, you might need to make some compromises. Besides calling a taxi, the only option is the Bus Rapid Transit (BTR) and going out takes more than an hour or even longer. The BRT is often crowded with no seats available, and calling a taxi costs over RMB 70 one way for two days.
I was very satisfied with the vacation. The room was distinctive, and other units even have family-friendly facilities. It was quiet and comfortable, with a long beach nearby suitable for cycling and other activities.

EEvanoreI can't believe the biggest surprise of my trip to Xiamen was the accommodation! I'm quite picky, sensitive, and have unique tastes, so for a place to truly satisfy me, it needs to get the basics right *and* offer a distinctive experience. This hotel is a rare gem. The cleanliness was outstanding – even in places like the kettle and teacups, which often go wrong, there wasn't the slightest smell, instantly boosting my trust. The service was perfect, with complimentary welcome fruits and drinks that were of excellent quality, not just an afterthought. I'd never tried the jabuticaba fruit before, and it tasted wonderfully tropical 😋. The girl at the front desk was beautiful and sweet-voiced, and I saw her busy all day, which was very reassuring. Every day, returning to the room truly felt like coming home ☺️. The auntie who made breakfast was also lovely. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied!

WWangxiaopianerThe young man with glasses provided excellent service—he helped with luggage, answered all our questions, and was very accommodating. The hotel offers luggage delivery, but the timing wasn't convenient. We couldn't wait, so we ended up carrying our bags ourselves, which was quite a struggle. The navigation on Gulangyu Island is really inaccurate; if you don't follow the route provided by the hotel, it'll lead you up a mountain. I also have to mention that the hotel breakfast was really good. The 'mianxian hu' (vermicelli paste) and 'bianshi' (wontons) were incredibly delicious, even better than what we had at the old shops on the main island.
I booked this room for my friend, and I'm including my review as well!

AAnonymous UserOur stay was truly amazing — if the full score is 100, I would honestly give it 200! The room was exceptionally clean, and the host personally checked everything again even after the cleaning lady finished. The host was warm, generous, and always attentive. During check-in, she even shared helpful travel tips and recommended places to visit, which made our trip so much easier.
Every day, they asked whether we needed room cleaning or a cup of coffee, which made us feel very well taken care of.
The flowers and garden were personally maintained by the host, so the environment was beautiful and welcoming. The location was also incredibly convenient — just downstairs, there were plenty of food options, and even late at night, we could easily walk out for supper.
Overall, from the location to cleanliness to the host’s hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this place!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel environment is impeccable, with spacious public areas and beautiful birdsong and flowers. Perched on a hill, I was woken up every morning around 5 or 6 by the chirping of various birds. It's about a 15-minute walk to Xiamen University and Putuo Temple, though it's uphill and a bit tiring, but taxis are quite convenient. The room was also very large, with a bedroom offering a distant view of the rooftops of Xiamen University. All in-room facilities were well-equipped. While I wouldn't delve too deeply into the cleanliness details, it was acceptable, but the sound of water running from the rooms above or next door was particularly noisy. The service was excellent, with prompt responses to all requests! Overall, I was satisfied, with one exception: the breakfast was too basic. It felt like it cost less than five yuan to make, truly the most perfunctory breakfast I've ever had in decades of staying at hotels. We ended up ordering takeout for the kids for both days, so I don't think it's worth booking a rate that includes breakfast. I'd like to offer a suggestion to the hotel: with such a great location and environment, it should strive for perfection by putting more thought into improving the breakfast. For tourists, a hearty breakfast is truly important. If a buffet isn't feasible due to cost-cutting, at least the set menu could be more varied, instead of just offering a bowl of congee and one or two pre-made buns every day, which is quite unappetizing.

GGuest UserOur group of five booked the duplex loft, which was incredibly spacious with two floors. The room design had a wonderful French vintage feel, and the solid wood furniture paired with warm yellow lighting made it as cozy as home. The hostel is a renovated century-old building, but there was absolutely no strange odor, and the cleaning was meticulously done. The rooftop terrace is a shared space with sofas and greenery; sitting there in the evening, enjoying the breeze and the night view, was so comfortable we didn't want to leave. The location is perfect, right at Zhongshan Road 210, with the subway entrance just steps away. Taking a taxi to the Botanical Garden or Xiamen University was also inexpensive. The staff were very friendly, and they even gave us a small gift upon check-out. Very satisfied!

Yyura_zhouThe location is incredibly convenient, right next to Zhongshan Road, with tons of food options just outside the door. The room, though not large, is very well designed and has all the necessary amenities, making for a very comfortable stay. Getting such a great B&B at this price was a pleasant surprise; it's excellent value for money. The customer service guy was also super nice, always responding promptly and patiently. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area!

The service is excellent, and they offer a free airport shuttle which is a big plus since it's only a 5-minute drive from the airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was impressed by its high ceilings and sophisticated decor, which really makes it feel upscale and perfect for business meetings. The guest rooms are impeccably clean; the bedding is soft and odor-free, and the vanity is spotless. The best part is that it's directly across from Wulihe Park, making an evening stroll after dinner incredibly convenient.
