Amazing
GGuest UserThere is no bathroom on the second floor, all on the first floor, which is not convenient. Health is OK, suitable for a large family or many friends to come out to play together, very close to the beach, recommended
ええんどうきEverything was clean and I had a comfortable stay!
They didn't use cheap shampoos or anything, so my hair didn't get all stiff!
The desk felt high compared to the height of the sofa, so it would have been better if it was lower.
Also, check-out was at 10am, and the intercom rang 5 or 10 minutes before. When I opened the door, a cleaning man was standing there, and he told me how many minutes left until check-out. I felt a bit pressured at that time, but other than that I thought it was a great place! I'd like to use it again!
GGuest UserBeautiful secluded getaway in a temple precinct with easy access by car to the town, mountains and hiking trails. Enjoyed the facilities with family for cooking.
JJacaranda13I learned the charm of the guesthouse. It seemed like many people came here to rest for a while, and I really liked the guesthouse's unique culture that welcomed even first-time visitors. Since it's an old building, the windows shake when cars pass by and the wooden stairs creak, but I think that's its own charm. The shower facilities are also well-equipped! There aren't any large lockers, but I felt safe because I could leave my valuables in a place where I could use the key. I really liked the atmosphere of meeting and interacting with various people. It's a short walk from Hase Station, so it's easy to access, and if you walk a little further, there's a beach. The price is reasonable, so I think I'll come back again next time I visit Kamakura.
KKennypig3It's very close to the station, very clean, and everything is new.
However, the bathroom is shared, which is a bit inconvenient.
There are two toilets, and the overall soundproofing is so-so.
But it has a very Japanese atmosphere and is very clean.
AAnonymous UserThe self-check-in process is truly terrible; everyone complains about it, but they refuse to improve. They could provide clearer instructions and passwords via email. If there's a language barrier, they could establish immediate text communication. The email could also inform guests in advance about communication tools they might need to download, like Facebook. There are many solutions, but they just don't care. It really shames the Japanese reputation for meticulousness and continuous improvement.
On the positive side: the location is excellent, and the interior is very clean.
On the negative side: the ventilation is extremely poor, and the air quality in the room is bad.
GGuest UserIt's really close to the station and there's a convenience store nearby.
But the bathroom space is really a bit too small, and there are no shelves to store things, which is not very convenient.
In addition, the hair dryer is also broken and cannot blow hot air out😥
