"We stayed at this hostel because of its location and the desire to experience living in a colonial house. It's an excellent hostel, one of the best we've ever stayed in. The soundproofing isn't great, but during our 3-day stay, we experienced no discomfort from the street or neighbors. The contactless check-in was particularly impressive. We received all the necessary access information the day before, and the managers were constantly available. The bathrooms and toilets were clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location is superb."

GGuest UserThe surrounding is very convenient. There is a Starbucks and Family Mart downstairs. There is a good local Malay coffee and tea chain store. The breakfast we had there every day was great. There is also a Western bar with good steaks and salads. There are also some grocery stores nearby where locals shop. There are food stalls within a ten-minute walk. There is a fitness trail for leisure right by the beach. The room is large and fully equipped. It can accommodate up to five people. The landlord can be added on WeChat. He provided us with a lot of help during our stay!

Cleanliness was top notch. We had a great one night stay at Urban Designer Collections. The environment was really urban, really love the effort in decorating the place. Made us feel welcome and belonged.
Room was really cleN, Bed was really comfortable, we had a good sleep like a little baby. Even there is breakfast which makes it a plus point.

YYevon ChaiFongStayed at Beacon Executive Suite with my family and overall we had a pleasant and comfortable stay.
The unit was clean, spacious, and suitable for family, with enough space for everyone to relax. The host was very responsive and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and answering our questions quickly.
Location is convenient with easy access to Georgetown and nearby food places. Parking was provided, which is a big plus for those driving.
The infinity pool and rooftop view were the highlight – the kids enjoyed it very much and the night view was nice.
A few minor points for improvement:
• Lift waiting time can be long during peak hours
• Kitchen utensils are quite basic
• The bed was a bit too soft for our preference
Overall, it is a good choice for family stay – comfortable, convenient, and with a helpful host. We would consider staying here again.

XXixitang～This hotel is truly excellent!!! Much better than expected!!!! Check-in and check-out were both self-service, which was very convenient. The hotel environment is great! It's cool inside, clean, and hygienic. The little decorations inside are also lovely, with couplets, calligraphy experiences, and a felt board where you can leave messages. I saw so many interesting comments. The room type I booked was perfect for two people. Both air conditioning and a fan were provided, and all the facilities were complete and easy to use. Breakfast was also served in the morning. There was coffee, black tea, toast, and even strawberry jam and butter~ The open kitchen had a water dispenser, a toaster, and I even saw a juicer. The ice water from the dispenser was super delicious, and hot water was also available. There was also a laundry room, but I didn't go up to see it. The living environment was very quiet, and they even provided earplugs. The hotel staff, Ma Ni, was also amazing!!! Very enthusiastic, always smiling when she saw me~ (The room was exactly as described by the hotel, no false advertising at all~ I just forgot to take pictures of my room). Everyone doesn't need to worry about language issues; upon arrival, just scan the QR code in the middle above the main door to add the owner on WeChat. Chinese communication is perfectly fine! Then the owner will send you the main door password and your room password, which is super convenient!!! All in all, I highly recommend this hotel, everyone can confidently go for it!!!!!!! I will definitely come again~ A very wonderful stay ❤️❤️❤️

Room was basic but clean. Stairs to loft bed have no railing so your balance has to be okay.
What I liked: it’s very near the beach (but be careful going down the steep steps with a rusting and questionable guardrail). And it’s also a minute’s walk from the nearby food place with many affordable options for dinner. Not far from the bus stop. Penang’s bus services are not bad.
What I didn’t like: the positions of the room lighting are poor, including the bathroom where the opaque shower curtain blocks the bathroom light, and the loft where the bare bulb is right above your head and glows even when off. I unscrewed the bulb in order to stop that. Also, not many breakfast options nearby.
Music from a nearby nightspot could be heard along with some firecracker type noises some nights, but these died down by about 10pm so not a problem for me.
In all, I would rate this place a solid 4/5 and I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

TTeddy AkiraI had an excellent stay at The Frame Hostel in Penang. The service was top-notch, and the location is ideal, with Penang's famous street food and street art just a short walk away. The hostel is also surrounded by Michelin-star food stalls. Cleanliness is impeccable, and the new capsule beds, introduced just a week ago, offer a cozy sleeping experience. The hostel is flexible with check-in and check-out times, and the on-site café is perfect for enjoying a favourite cup of coffee. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Penang.

BBabylindPlace is super clean. Location is just next to city centre (5 minutes drive). Sofa bed is comfy and we selected the unit with Cinema theme (projector). We all enjoyed our relaxing movie time at late evening. Check in procedures is clear and easy too.
Overall, we are satisfied with the place.

HHeiPaulaNice, clean and comfy little hotel. Water machine where you can refill your own bottle. Pool was very nice for swimming, but no space for sunbathing around it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Self check-in which is theoretically handy, but because you have to bay deposit by cash the self check-in and -out won't bring any added value. WiFi and air conditions works very well!

TTravel Channel Asia - MalaysiaWe decided on our overnight trip to Penang at the very last minute but still managed to secure this unit and check in on 29th Dec 2025, since it was impromptu, prices were not cheap. It was difficult to find good and reasonably priced accommodation just after Christmas before New Year. However, I must say this unit was a good find. Not cheap but reasonably priced due to high season but I must say that it was easy to book, check in and out, everything went smoothly. Communication via Whats App and Check in details were sufficient, did not have any difficulties in finding the place and parking was good. Location is excellent.
This place is in Georgetown, we did do GRAB if we wanted to go to places which were difficult to find parking and the rest which were further we just drove to where we need to go. For dinner, the young adults walked back from Citadines Hotel area (happening place with hawker food round the corner and a shopping mall) and had a great time discovering new F & B outlets. The rest of the senior citizens of course, took a GRAB car and quickly got back to the unit to rest and had a nice cuppa tea before bedtime. The following morning, it was breakfast at Pulau Tikus market, nearby as well. Old hawkers are still around there, so food is good. There is a great Nyonya restaurant in that area as well though we could not go this time round as we ended up at Oceano Symphony. Another story to follow up if you are interested.
Our family enjoyed our stay at the unit, decor was good and facilities were well-kept, clean and sufficient. The view is lovely (high floor) - do have a good seaview, stretches from Living room all the way to the Master Bedroom. Also you have 2 convenient shops downstairs in case you need to grab a sandwich or drinks.

QQueenNLinWe had a family gathering here. The house is nice. Can fit big family. We had fun here. But I think the house is not properly clean well. The house stairs is dusty in the corner of the railing holder. Even in our bed room under the bed is very dusty and have some left over tissue and panty liners plastic. The toilet is not clean. It’s very dirty as I wipe the floor the wet tissue become black. The bed sheet also have bag worm. Luckily I already have some experience with previous house this time I bring my own bed sheet and pillow. So I change all. Didn’t use theirs. I just fold and put aside. The house swimming pool is ok except the part where the tiles is coming out and have some broken part. One of my family members feet is injured do to the sharpness. Also have some issue with checking in as we arrive at 3pm and wait until 3.30 the house is not ready yet. We come back after we had lunch at 4ish something we already Over all is a nice experience staying here. If u can maintain this place better. Will definitely and recommend this house to others. And we will repeat. Thank you.
