There's plenty to do nearby, with Wat Intharam, Wat Thammikarat and Rajamangala University Cultural Center all within a short distance. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city.
"Potentially the best location in Ayutthaya if you want to visit a few of the main temples, as it's directly across the street from two of them. The hotel wasn't very helpful in arranging transport back to Don Muang airport (quoted about 3x the price of Grab), but otherwise everything was very smooth!
The room was clean and comfortable. That's all we really cared about, as we were in Ayutthaya for just 2 days and wanted to get out and see all of the amazing sights."

GGuest UserThis is a very quiet Thai-style hotel with an excellent atmosphere. It felt very comfortable staying here. Enjoying breakfast with the morning sun and looking out at the Chao Phraya River was truly delightful. The breakfast was very exquisite, and the hotel staff were incredibly warm and friendly, always smiling and greeting you. It's also very close to all the attractions in Ayutthaya. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

PPrestoVery thoughtful room arrangement, excellent staff, room amenities are very nice, quiet and peaceful, in walking distance to nice restaurants, beautiful view, breakfast was better than most Thai breakfasts at a hotel. The only thing is the water isn't too warm and not enough to make a nice hot bath.

GGuest UserStaying at Baan Canalee was a fantastic choice. The host and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Despite arriving later than expected, they were willing to provide recommendations for dinner and even helped us call a tuk-tuk. The house itself was spacious and clean, and having a smart TV with access to YouTube was definitely a plus. Additionally, the common area by the riverside was a lovely place to unwind and relax after a long day of exploring.
If I have the chance to visit Ayutthaya again, I would definitely choose to stay at Baan Canalee once more. Overall, it provided a comfortable and welcoming environment with excellent customer service and thoughtful touches that made our stay more enjoyable.

GGuest UserThis hotel is excellent…… Stay here if you want a boat ride to a quiet river island location just five minutes from the town market centre pier. We didn’t know just how lucky we were going to be and booked the Hotel purely by chance. We are so glad we gave it a go …. The peace of this quiet Island retreat is charming .. the staff make you feel welcome and the food is great. I would definitely go back again

BbosippnaAfter watching ”A Pair of Nature” last year, I decided to go to the big city. This is exactly what I imagined for a kunpi family: wooden stilt houses, living by the river, with wooden boats docked by the river, and overlooking the shore. You can also see the Chaiwatthanaram Temple in ”A Couple”. Sitting by the river at night, listening to the theme song, it seems that you can travel through time and space and return to the old city. Although there is no air conditioning in the room, it is not too hot. The toilets upstairs are open-air. If you are not used to it, there are also downstairs. The boss is an uncle who speaks English and is very good at talking. The lady boss always smiles and speaks very softly. The cooked food is very delicious, and can increase or decrease the spiciness according to the customer's request. What was particularly touched was that we left the room in the morning, spent a day outside, and planned to leave by train in the evening, and the lady boss happily asked us to wash in the bathroom. Just for such a humane place, I will come again next time I have a chance~(๑ᵔ⌔ᵔ๑)Dear uncle and untie, thanks for your enthusiastic hospitality, which makes me love ayutthaya more!

GGuest UserI like accommodations near the water. But if you look at the view from the top, you'll see a lot of the roof below. You have to come down to see the water view at the bottom. It's better. In the room, the WIFI signal didn't arrive, but the hotel said they were going to move the box. The next one should be better. Everything is good in the room. The big bed was comfortable.

GGuest UserWe loved staying here. Ayutthaya is beautiful and it's well worth it to rent bikes from the hotel to ride around the ruins. A word of caution, do not not try to put a child on the back rack of an adult bike. Our daughter got her foot caught in the spokes leading to a very bad sprain. The food at this hotel was amazing. We ate here for each dinner and every meal was outstanding. They were extremely kind when our daughter hurt her foot and we had a great stay. Highly recommended.
