Stayed Two nights from 21/09/22 to 23/09/22 Located within close proximity to the ruins of Ayutthaya, this is a great place to stay if you are on a budget. I stayed in room 14 which was a double room access from the side of the main building. It was a fairly nice room for the price however there was no safe or fridge. The double bed was also only a mattress on the floor so there was that risk of bugs and ants making their way on to the bed itself. The gardens are a nice place to sit and have a drink however you will need to stop by a shop to pick something up as there is no bar or drinks fridge. Overall it is a nice budget place to stay. if you like luxury, it probably isn't for you however if you want something a little different, which is cheap, clean and well kept, I would highly recommend.

It was the best experience. The host and staff of the inn were very kind. The room was clean, luxurious and had everything. When I woke up in the morning, I saw Ayutthaya illuminated by the morning sun. It was truly amazing. I was lent a bicycle and had a great time riding along the road between the two ruins. I stayed with my parents who are 75 years old. Highly recommended. Thank you so much.

I really wanted to say I loved this place. The couple running the ”homestay” was really sweet and their daughter, who managed their emails, was also helpful. However, there were some issues that marred the experience for me. Firstly, the place was marketed as a homestay, though I think it would be more appropriate to say it's guesthouses on a residential compound. I was also under the impression that I would be given a room in a standalone building like the ones they posted online but was instead given a basic room in a row of three. Secondly, I arranged for a guide through the homestay and only learned from the guide when he arrived that it did not include a driver and transportation. I then paid more for the driver and car. I think this could have been made more transparent from the start. Lastly, and most importantly, the bathroom was a challenge. I don't want to go into details because some guests may have no issues, but I've uploaded some pictures, and you can decide on your own. For me, I found something unpleasant on the floor after I came back from dinner on the second day, and decided there and then I would cut short my stay.

We loved staying at this charming family-run guesthouse in Ayutthaya. The peaceful, minimalist vibe and attention to design made it feel like a relaxing retreat. The spacious wooden terrace overlooking a back-door river added to the laidback atmosphere. Despite the remote village feel, the location is quite central in Ayutthaya. The lovely host went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home, even taking us on a fun bicycle tour of ancient temples and markets. There are several free bikes available for guest use. With its character and hospitality, this is a 10/10 guesthouse I'd highly recommend to anyone seeking accommodation in Ayutthaya with more charm than a typical hotel.

Very very very cool place with lovely staff. Great little breakfast spread, super close to everything you want to see. 10/10 recommend this place!! We had severe construction next door, and this could have ruined it…but the place is so peaceful at night and calm that it made up for it, and the staff honestly couldn’t do enough for you! Thanks!

Rrenu nI have stayed Baan Canalee house for one night, the room and design are interesting and modern. Its close to little klong behind the garden. I highly recommend for who looking for a place to stay in Ayutthaya. I will be back there again soon.

GGuest UserReally special experience staying on the river in Ayutthaya. Lovely room looking down on the river. Beautiful teak design - obviously a little rustic and not best sound insulation but this is part of the charm. We had breakfast right beside our room and the river. Very nice breakfast lovingly prepared. Free bike hire which was awesome and bike riding is very nice - you can do a route which is 90% without cars around the historic monuments. We went on a boat tour right from the hotel which took us to see 3 historic sights. Unbelievable good value. Only down side was it pretty much abandoned us at river restaurant without explanation which although lovely was a shame it hadn’t been communicated. Overall though would highly recommend.

GGuest UserFrom Hualan Phong Station in Bangkok, take the train to Ayutthaya Station and from the station to the inn by Grab. We stayed for 2 nights with 1 people. Each room was laid out on a spacious and well maintained site, and it was a very comfortable stay to walk barefoot in the wooden room. Bicycles can be rented (when I stayed, it was a super hot heat of 40 ℃ every day, I gave up my bicycle, and the ruins were around Grab). In the room, there were refrigerators, water, kettle pots, tea sets, sweets, dryers, amenities, etc. (I brought amenities), and the shower was abundant with hot water. I was happy with the cut fruit for breakfast. In addition to toast, you can choose from several menus for the main. I chose Thai stir-fry for the first night and vegetable omelet for the second night. It was delicious. Wat Mahartat is within walking distance. There were seven, cafe Amazon and outdoor food courts in the neighborhood, and the night market was within walking distance. We had a particularly lively night market on weekends. We were kind to everyone in the inn. Ayutthaya can be a day trip from Bangkok, but it was the correct answer to stay slowly.

GGuest UserWell-run homestay with a hostess who knows how to take care of the guests in the best possible way. Select the room with aircon for best comfort. Believe me, you don't want to go for the fan-only room in this lovely establishment. You want to go to full mile and have it all. The breakfast is hearty and prepared with utmost dedication. The location is superb for backpackers waiting for their next train to Chiang Mai, or wherever they are destined to go. The Wifi was surprisingly leopard-like fast in an old Thai style house like this. The shared bathroom is not an issue if you don't have a bad stomach and the parking space are plentiful if you are willing to walk the extra steps. Therefore, I would not hesitate to recommend this place, A slight deduction has been made due to very thin wall, thus you can hear every gossip from your neighbor.

GGuest UserBeautifully situated next to the Chao Phraya River, literally inches away. Peaceful and serene, the vibe is tranquil and invites one to relax with a drink and chill. The grounds and common areas are well-mai Tai Ed and spacious, as was my room which was quite large with high ceilings and very clean. Though I was traveling solo, this inn is perfect for couples and small families. Great location being close to the many wats and an assortment of riverfront restaurants (mostly on the north side of the river, right over a very nearby small bridge). Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

BbosippnaAfter watching ”A Pair of Nature” last year, I decided to go to the big city. This is exactly what I imagined for a kunpi family: wooden stilt houses, living by the river, with wooden boats docked by the river, and overlooking the shore. You can also see the Chaiwatthanaram Temple in ”A Couple”. Sitting by the river at night, listening to the theme song, it seems that you can travel through time and space and return to the old city. Although there is no air conditioning in the room, it is not too hot. The toilets upstairs are open-air. If you are not used to it, there are also downstairs. The boss is an uncle who speaks English and is very good at talking. The lady boss always smiles and speaks very softly. The cooked food is very delicious, and can increase or decrease the spiciness according to the customer's request. What was particularly touched was that we left the room in the morning, spent a day outside, and planned to leave by train in the evening, and the lady boss happily asked us to wash in the bathroom. Just for such a humane place, I will come again next time I have a chance~(๑ᵔ⌔ᵔ๑)Dear uncle and untie, thanks for your enthusiastic hospitality, which makes me love ayutthaya more!

GGuest UserThis was an experience I wouldn't have missed. If you want to stay authentic, this is the place. We were the only guests in this hotel. It is on an island. You're picked up by the boat when you call. The rest you feel so close to the city is unique. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom. Bad room is separate from your bedroom. But don't experience this as a problem. It's been cooked nicely for us. A walk made on the island where you walk between the houses where people live and work.

SsharonceshI don't know how to judge this very well. This is in a scared contrast to what we have had already with regard to hotels/ guesthouses (the same price classes). We came in a strange step, but that is not so strange in itself. The hotel is located above a restaurant, near the river. We welcome you in a very friendly way (in Thai , so take a dictionary with / no problem). We could with a staircase up to our room (family room) which is composed of a room, a room, a bathroom. The room is in very dark wood (Thai style). The windows are covered with a lap of dust, so you will wake up with the morning glowing. OK for staying (we stayed only one night), but I give the advice to the owners: let the room clean very thoroughly - dust everywhere! And a thick layer (on the ceiling ventilator, on the stop contacts). The night was quite calm (although all sound airco, but OK , we had airco). Only a lot of light that came through the kilns over the night because light on the corridor was still burning. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. 1 egg (sunny Side Up) a toast m, butter, jam, waffle and spice. Bed was good quality, clean lakes and the waffles were delicious. Now what I find a more point: the owners speak good English. Our daughter had had an accident with the bike. They explained where the clinic was, and they arranged transport for the next day to bring us to the next location, for which thanks. I think the location is good, the view of breakfast is phenomenal, but quality is better.
