The Ice Castles are about 1 mile away!The house and studio apartment are situated on an expansive private lot with great mountain views and sounds of the river across the street. The studio backs up to 14 private wooded acres creating the perfect peaceful NH mountain escape. Guests can walk out the door and access hiking the Gordon Pond Hiking Trail from the driveway.The apartment sits above a 2-car garage that guests may use for covered parking for 2 vehicles.Guests will find a staircase with private entrance to the studio apartment. The studio has a queen bed, full size pull out sleeper sofa, full kitchen, full bathroom, and seating/dining area.Pets: Well-behaved pets are welcome if added to the reservation. Ski season is entering full swing. The Happy Cabin is ready for great ski weekend escapes and is secluded on a private 130 acre estate with no other buildings within a half a mile. Beautiful winter scenes abound. This cabin was built as a romantic escape and is only available to couples. Large stone fireplace, jacuzzi tub for two, large two person shower and more than cozy queen size bed await you for the perfect winter get-a-way in the White Mountains. AWD/4WD with snow tires is recommended.Located just outside of town, up on the mountainside, the Happy Cabin affords the perfect balance of access to White Mountain amenities and the towns charm yet off by itself for added quiet.This is perfect for those that enjoy the crisp winter ski season and midweek days are highly recommended as the ski areas tend to get very crowded over the weekends in the winter.Remember, this is the whole house with everything you might expect in a house so no need to worry about bringing linens like some places. Everything is at the cabin and ready for you. And just so know, the water comes from a 600+ foot deep well and is cleaner than anything you will ever get in a bottle.
