AAnonymous UserMy new home in hcmc. I stayed here 6nights. And It became my favorite home in Hcmc. Property has beautiful scenery with full of zen feeling. Surely staffs here will help you out kindly. Studio itself has everything you need .. small kitchen, microwave, bathroom, working table, sofa and small dining table. They clean your room every 2 days so it was good enough. And communication via whatsapp was great too. You can also use their laundry room which has both laundry & dry machine. This is central location. Therefore you may encounter some of noises from outside but at the same time you can hear bird sounds. Unfortunately the next building is on construction.. However I was lucky to bring my ear pieces for the night. This location was perfect for me because I want convenience yet peaceful place too. There are many good cafe within 5-10mins walking distance. And just outside of the main gate, you can see 2 cafes which is beautiful alley view. And I love the (paid) gym experience with 3mins walking distance. This was my first time staying in M living so I wish to explore more in hcmc. At the same time, definitely I will come back here next time too. Now Im staying in Vinhome central Park apartments where you got everything as residence. However I miss the feeling in here M village living.

JJune.LeeI had a very pleasant stay at Express by M Village Pham Ngu Lao 👍 The biggest highlight of this hotel is definitely its excellent location. It’s just a short walk to Pham Ngu Lao Street, making it super convenient to explore both day and night. The surrounding area is full of great options: ☕ Plenty of cozy cafés where you can enjoy delicious Vietnamese coffee 🍜 Lots of local food nearby – from bánh mì to pho, everything is within walking distance 💆♀️ Many massage shops around, perfect for relaxing after a long day out The hotel itself is clean, simple, and comfortable. It’s ideal if you’re looking for a hassle-free stay with everything close by. 💡Overall: ✔ Excellent location (everything within walking distance) ✔ Great for couples or friends traveling together ✔ Good value for money If you’re visiting Ho Chi Minh City and want a place where you can easily walk to food, coffee, and nightlife, this is a great choice 👍

CChristiene TrinidadStayed at Peanuts Le Thanh Ton first and ended up extending our trip, so we moved to the Tran Hung Dao branch for a more nights. Honestly this branch has a very different vibe and we really liked it. Biggest plus point is the location inside a local alley, very peaceful compared to the busy main streets in District 1. At night it was surprisingly cool and quiet, sometimes we just sat downstairs in the common living area with the fan on and it already felt super comfortable. You really get that local living feeling here lah. Do note that cars/taxis cannot stop directly in front of the house because the alley is small, so you need to walk around 1-2m. But for us it was totally fine and honestly made the place feel even more authentic. We stayed as a family so this setup worked really well. There’s a kitchen, living room and common area, which made it feel homey instead of just renting a room. The bedroom itself is not huge, but everything feels new, sturdy and thoughtfully prepared. Also special thanks to Thu Thuy, Thao Hien super kind and responsive even when we texted late at night 😭 Before we checked out she even came by to say goodbye personally which was honestly very sweet and memorable. We’ll definitely come back next time in HCMC ❤️ P/s: the TV was a bit difficult to use 😅 It would be even better if there was a simple guideline for guests.

GGuest UserMy first impression of CouCou Homestead 1 was not so great. We arrived a bit later at night and I was a bit overwhelemed by having to walk down a series of narrowish laneways to get to the accommodation. That feeling very quickly faded though and I came to absolutely love staying here. We stayed in the Banana Room. It was very spacious, clean and equipt with all the essentials. There was a separate bathroom. The mattress was a bit hard though but we slept well each night after full days of exploring. Being a homestead, there is no elevator and you have to carry your luggage upstairs yourself. Staff are nevertheless very helpful, friendly and kind. I liked their laidback nature. The location of the accommodation is fantastic! It is right in the heart of District 1 and within walking distance to most of the main tourist attractions. There are so many great places to eat and shop nearby. The price for the room was excellent too. I would highly recommend stayed here and would definitely book again if in HCMC.

DDavid LeroyI arrived at 4am in the morning due to a delayed flight. Even though I had to wake the owner up, he was very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is great, down an alley near the popular touristy area. Even though it is an easy walking distance from the bars and restaurants, it is quiet in the room. The owners are very nice and helpful (and speak English). They helped me get a taxi and offered information about the area.

GGuest UserThe room was cozy, with high ceilings and a nice view from the window, making it a comfortable stay. However, being close to Bui Vien Street, the noise at night made it impossible to sleep. The biggest issue with this hostel is the unmanned check-in. It seems they lack the understanding that this system is risky for guests. First, I received a key number by email to enter the building, but the door wouldn't open even after entering it. This was because I didn't know the first digit was for activating the system, so the door would never open otherwise. Next, the room number sent by email was incorrect – a major mistake. When I tried to enter the room, someone was already inside. After speaking with them, we concluded it was likely a double booking. When I went back downstairs, a kind guest called for me. At this point, there was absolutely no response via email. Even though all previous communication was by email, they suddenly only offered phone support. For someone not fluent in English, this was a real ordeal. Overall, it was a stay where I felt let down by their lack of hospitality towards guests.

GGuest UserA very pleasant and convenient hotel. The room has everything you need: a hairdryer, towels, and personal hygiene kits. The staff are very friendly and helpful, assisting with everything. The hotel is located near coffee shops, a 7/11, and a Big C Mart. It's on the outskirts of District 1, so it's quite a distance from the city center, but you can always take a bus or walk, which is what we did. Overall impression: everything was great, we were pleasantly surprised and hope to return again ❤️

GGuest UserI booked this place last minute at the airport, at first I only planned to stay for 1 night then move to a hotel, since I was a bit concerned that there were no reviews yet :)) But once I stayed at Peanuts Home, I felt super comfortable. honestly, it’s the perfect way to explore Saigon. In the end, I decided to stay here for almost a week (Cozy Latte & Green Forest Room) :) Below are my thoughts, hope it’s useful 1. Location: - The home is tucked inside a quiet alley on Calmette Street, very convenient for getting around. You can easily walk to Ben Thanh Market or Bach Dang Wharf to catch the water bus/boat along the Saigon River. Great location, peaceful alley with lots of greenery, and there are two entrances so it’s easy to access. At the alley entrance there’s a noodle shop that was sooo good, i ate there three times! - There’s also a bank right outside the alley, so withdrawing cash and exchanging money was very convenient. - Seems like this is a Chinese neighborhood, with plenty of tasty restaurants that really fit my palate. - And yes, it’s close to Bui Vien walking street (nightlife), but please remember to be quiet when coming back late since it’s a local residential area. The neighbors are super friendly 2. Service: - This deserves a highlight: the host is very friendly and supportive. I booked at a time when she was free, and since it was just the two of us traveling, we even got to hang out together, so nice huhu. Honestly, I only want to stay here when I come back to HCMC :) - The room is fully equipped. What I loved most is that even the toothpaste is a proper branded one, not some generic version. Ms. Thu Thuy, the host, said she wants to give guests the best experience and doesn’t like using unbranded stuff. - The house has a washing machine and dryer, plus detergent and softener are provided, super convenient for longer stays. - Not sure what fragrance or essential oil they use, but the whole place smelled amazing, like when I stayed at Best Western hotels. Overall, it was a memorable experience in Vietnam. See you soon! Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting HCMC.

GGuest UserThis hotel is a good budget hotel in a location close enough to walk into the centre. HOWEVER, so many negative points. I messaged the owner as we wouldn't be arriving at 2/3am if it's possible to check in, and their communication was good and on arrival I called her and she got out of bed to let us in which was nice. But we were rudely awoken at 8am by extremely noisy construction work which felt in the next room, every morning during our stay, so please ask if the renovations have finished because it was incredibly disruptive. The next point would be the small window in the room with no curtains letting light in at first light, not great if you're a light sleeper. Next the shower didn't heat up and the water on the floor really struggled to drain away so the bathroom floor would hold a lot of water when using the toilet, sink etc after a shower. The beds hard but that's typical in Vietnam. And finally they have a pug (dog) in a small cage right by the entrance which was distressing to see, even after living in Vietnam for many years. It’s common at homes but not at a hotel where not everyone agrees with it. But no receptionist if you like privacy which is a bonus and was easy to come back late at night.
