King's Mansion

This hotel is…. Not good. We arrived just before the typhoon hit. I messaged the hotel several hours before checking in to see what precautions or preparations we would need to do because of the typhoon- they never answered my email. The room I was in reeked of cigarette smoke and had plastic bags over the smoke detectors. The staff did nothing to remedy the situation and told me to leave the plastic bags there. The room was not very clean and the sink was attached to the wall with duct tape. It wobbled when we touched it. If the typhoon were not imminent I would have booked us in somewhere else. The hotel told us that they could store our luggage after checking out. When I realized that their ”storage “ consisted of bike locks next to a staircase railing I decided to pass on that idea. The neighborhood that the hotel is in is nice- many restaurants and shops within walking distance.

The hotel is in a decent location, with convenient access to nearby restaurants and public transportation, which made getting around fairly easy. However, the room was quite small and felt a bit cramped, especially for a longer stay. Amenities were rather limited, with not much beyond the basic essentials. While the hotel was generally clean and the staff were polite, the overall experience was average and didn’t particularly stand out. It’s an acceptable option if you’re mainly looking for a place to sleep, but don’t expect many facilities or extra comforts.

The hotel room floor is all sticky and very disgusting. The room is also full of cigarettes smell. The pillow also has saliva and cigarettes smell. The location is bearable, 10 mins walk to MRT and nearby convenience store. But the room is really dirty and smelly. Look very different from the photo advertise

The hotel staff were kind and friendly but the managers were not and were not helpful with simple requests. Also, the facilities look nothing like the pictures online. I was disappointed

My second stay. Self Check In at night. Room clean and high ceiling commodities great. Wifi wasnt the best, elevator was loud but for Hongkong this is great near Mongkok and calm area. No rats and service is great. They even lend us an umbrella.

The room was very small and smelled smoked. Hong Kong hotels are expensive and we knew it would not be a 5 star hotel. Funny that they seem to have a strict non smoking policy but you smelled smoke everywhere. As you can see on the picture the smoke detector probably would not save our lives in case of a fire. We paid over 65 US dollars per night and it was one of the most expensive and worst hotel of our China trip.

Location was good, 10 min walk from Sham Shui Po station. Pleasantly surprised with the room, it was modern and spacious for Hong Kong. Water pressure in the shower was good and hot water was always available. Would have preferred if they gave more Shampoo and body soap, on the photos it looked like each room was given a large bottle but in reality, we only got sachets of shampoo and body soap that were not replenished. I really liked that there was a free washing machine service on the roof (just need to bring your own washing powder). Would definitely stay again if I visit Hong Kong!

I had a solo trip to Hong Kong and stayed here. Everything was really great. I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights. They cleaned the room, changed the trash bag and give me more towels. Everything was convenient and clean. highly recommend this place.
