Staying in a sea-view balcony room at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, I got both the ocean and fairy tales in one go! ✨ The vintage Victorian castle fairy-tale style really spoke to my inner child, and the room was full of little Mickey details, creating an amazing atmosphere. I absolutely loved the private balcony facing the South China Sea. I was hoping to catch the sunrise over the ocean in the morning and the sunset with the sea breeze in the evening – the open view was perfect for photos. Unfortunately, it poured rain the night we stayed at Disneyland and the next morning during our seven days in Hong Kong. The kids couldn't play in the outdoor pool, and I didn't get my wish of seeing the sunrise and sunset 🌅. It left a small regret, but I'll make up for it next time! The guest room with two large beds was spacious and had a bathtub, which was so therapeutic after a long day of playing. The tub was a bit small, though; I wonder how a tall, burly foreigner would manage to bathe in it. The hotel is 21 years old, and it's well-maintained, but some parts of the room do show their age. The hotel thoughtfully gifted us Donald and Daisy little towel animals. My husband and I are both rats in the Chinese zodiac 🐭, so it would have been even more perfect if they were Mickey and Minnie! Throughout our stay, there were gentle and thoughtful little details everywhere, making it a perfect Disney romantic family trip!

On August 5th, we checked into the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. That night, both of us were bitten on our arms and legs by some unknown insects. The next morning, to avoid spoiling our child's fun, we endured the itch and went to Disneyland! After returning to the hotel, we reported it to the staff. They only changed the sheets, duvet, and pillows for us, but on August 6th, we were still bitten by insects! Since we booked the hotel through a third-party platform, your lobby manager said we needed to negotiate with the third-party hotel. For a situation like this, your crisis management, I feel, is extremely disappointing for Disney fans like us. We spent nearly 4000 Hong Kong dollars on food at your hotel over two days, bought Disney gifts worth 3000-4000 Hong Kong dollars at the hotel, and spent about 4000-5000 Hong Kong dollars on souvenirs at Disneyland. On top of that, we were bitten for two nights during our stay at your hotel and barely slept due to the intense itching. While we're not demanding compensation, at the very least, the hotel stay fees should be refunded to us, the consumers, especially since we were injured at your hotel. Yet, your attitude when dealing with the third-party platform is just to say we should go through insurance or something similar. Can insurance really solve Disney's attitude towards its fans in a situation like this? We just feel that you are very cold, completely unlike the happiness, responsibility, and accountability conveyed within Disneyland. It's an entirely mechanical and inhumane way of handling things!

Overall, I'm satisfied, but some hygiene details could have been better. As a hotel in a scenic area, I hope they pay more attention to this, especially since there are always many children. I hope to experience the hotel's activities next time.

The hotel has a great location, with a shuttle bus directly to the park, and you also get express pass access to the park when you check in. The hotel itself also offers many interactive activities. I'm very satisfied.

Staying here with kids was super convenient! The hotel is directly connected to several shopping malls, so dining, shopping, and entertainment are all in one place. We booked a suite, and the room was quite spacious – though of course, it can't compare to mainland standards, it's pretty good for space-starved Hong Kong.

With kids, you truly understand the importance of staying at a theme park hotel. It was a wonderful experience. In the morning, we even participated in a Tai Chi activity and had a fun photo op with Donald Duck. I hope the kids have happy memories from this trip.

The location is super convenient, really close to the subway station – just a few steps away after you exit. Being right by Harbour City makes shopping super easy too. If you book early, you can often get a great deal. They even gave me a late check-out, which was nice for getting a bit more rest.

The room was excellent, and the facilities were as new as ever, showing they are very well-maintained. The bedding in the hotel was perfectly dry during the rainy season, which is truly commendable. I've encountered damp bedding before, so this shows significant improvement. The only minor drawback was how difficult it was to log into the Disneyland app. I had trouble buying tickets because I couldn't log in and eventually had to go back to the hotel where staff helped me complete the purchase. If the slow login issue with the park app could be improved, it would be even more appealing. The shuttle service from the Disneyland Hotel is very convenient. At the park hotel breakfast, you can meet Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Goofy, and taking pictures with them is such a joy for kids. Many of the small pastries are meticulously made in Mickey shapes. All in all, the moment you step into the Disneyland Hotel, it feels like entering a fairytale. It's a wonderful place for kids, adults, and seniors alike to forget the worries of reality and enjoy the happiness of the cartoon world.

Disneyland is definitely the top choice for family trips, and it wasn't as crowded as before, so we had a really great time. I heard from the front desk that the hotel will be closing for renovations after the National Day holiday, marking the end of an era. I'm looking forward to its grand reopening next time!

We flew all the way from Europe to Hong Kong Disneyland to celebrate our child's 8th birthday and booked a stay at the Disneyland Hotel. Yesterday morning, after checking out, we were sitting in the lobby filling out postcards. Suddenly, a pen dropped from the third floor, thrown by a hotel staff member, and hit our child. The staff member came down to apologize, and the first thing she said was that she was working upstairs and accidentally dropped the pen. 'Accidentally'? Throwing items from a height, no matter the reason, is inexcusable. This reveals significant issues with the hotel's management and staff oversight, posing a serious safety hazard. We have reported this incident to the front desk manager and hope the hotel reviews the surveillance footage, conducts an investigation, and provides a written response. We will continue to follow up on this matter and expect a reasonable explanation.

This Disney-themed hotel is fantastic! 👍 We specifically came to Hong Kong Disneyland because our kids love it. The experience here is definitely better than Shanghai Disney, and it offers great value for money in Asia. The hotel staff are very friendly towards mainland Chinese tourists, and there's a free shuttle service to the park and MTR station. On our last day, we stored our luggage at the hotel, and the staff even helped us call a taxi to our next hotel. What made the kids happiest was that upon check-out, they gave us two room cards as souvenirs, which the children absolutely loved!

Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very clean and spacious enough. All the staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful, making for a very comfortable stay. I stayed on the 5th floor and had no issues with bugs or dampness. Complimentary bottled water was provided in the room, and there was plenty of it. The pool is right by the sea, so a morning stroll outside was very pleasant.

The hotel definitely shows its age, but it's been reasonably well-maintained. The basic room type offers absolutely no view, which makes it very poor value for money! The breakfast was terrible, and the service wasn't welcoming at all. During the photo session with the mascots, one of the staff members, a middle-aged man, was particularly rude, and I reported him to the manager on the spot! The omelet station server was also quite grumpy!

This stay was a truly terrible experience. I paid over 11,000 HKD for three nights, and on the first day, I had to wait over three hours to check in. They gave me a room and bathroom that reeked of mildew and a foul odor. I called the front desk, and they said someone would come to resolve it. Eventually, I was moved from the moldy room 3036 to room 6033. When I booked through Ctrip, breakfast was included in the price, but upon check-in, the hotel claimed it wasn't showing on their system. Ctrip then provided a separate QR code link for meals, which led to my daughter and I being repeatedly questioned by restaurant staff about our 'meal vouchers.' I'm not sure what 'meal voucher' means in mainland China, but the restaurant staff's attitude felt very poor and condescending. This isn't my first time staying at this hotel. My previous two stays were relatively good, which is why I chose to bring my daughter here to relax during her school break instead of traveling abroad. However, the noise around our room was incredibly disruptive, beyond normal levels – it was unbelievable. During our three-night, four-day stay, it was mostly rainy, so my daughter and I watched Disney movies in the room, ate at the restaurant, and walked around nearby. The overall experience was extremely unpleasant. This makes me reconsider using Ctrip. For the past decade or so, most of my experiences were very satisfactory, but in recent years, things haven't been great. Prices are higher, the quality of service has rapidly declined, and the staff's professionalism at the hotels I've stayed at has been particularly disappointing. The photos below are of the bathroom in room 3036, which emitted a constant stench of mold and mildew. As soon as the air conditioning was turned on, this mold would spread through the central system. Mold is a Class 1 carcinogen. This is simply unacceptable and incomprehensible for an international chain hotel brand. It was a very unpleasant holiday experience. The constant noise in the hallways every morning was unbelievable. It felt like I was forced to wake up early. I don't understand why, when I'm on vacation, I have to be treated with such lack of consideration.
