Pros: 1) Has shuttle service to the airport 2) Service is pleasant 3) Ding ding tram right in front of the hotel and bus is walking distance 4) Direct bus to the Peak Cons: 1) There is a slight stench coming from the toilet sewage but they have an air purifier in the room 2) The headboard leather is flaking 3) The mountain view has a cemetery at the bottom and can be a bit scary if you’re traveling solo 4) No toiletries provided, all need to be purchased in the G floor vending machine 5) No bottled or filtered water machine in the room but tap water is drinkable in HK 6) Location is a bit far from everything else and no 7E around

Upgraded to a city-view room, and the view was fantastic, overlooking the road and the stadium. The only downside was the slow passenger elevator and the old, worn-out service elevator.

Upon arrival, as the king rooms were fully booked, I was upgraded to a twin city-view room. The bustling Causeway Bay view was truly a great experience, and the hotel staff thoughtfully arranged for someone to combine the beds later on. The room was quite spacious and comfortable, with excellent and complete amenities. It's right next to the racecourse, and I even got to watch a race that very evening. The only minor downsides were that the in-room air conditioning ventilation system was a bit noisy, and there was a damp smell when I first entered the room.

The service was really bad, and the Wi-Fi was broken. They didn't know when it would be fixed or even have an estimate. The hotel had a musty smell, and it was located right next to a cemetery. The room was small and dirty, and the towels were also filthy. It was a terrible experience, and I will never choose this hotel again.

I was very happy with the room; the view was great, and it was super close to the Jockey Club. My stay was specifically booked to dine at the Jockey Club's restaurant, but unfortunately, the night race on Wednesday the 21st was held at Sha Tin Racecourse, so I only saw the broadcast. When I checked in that afternoon, the gentleman with glasses at the front desk was very enthusiastic and polite, and even upgraded my room, which I really appreciated. The breakfast voucher for Capital Cafe was also a nice touch; it was a great way to experience local Hong Kong breakfast.

Everything is good. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is simple with sufficient choices. Location is okay , restaurant and mtr within walking distance ard 15-20mins

The location is great. I chose to stay here for a marathon this time. The room size was also suitable. However, the toiletries and amenities in the room were terrible. The hairdryer almost burned my hair. Please note, one side of this hotel faces a cemetery 🪦. When you open the curtains, it's all cemetery, quite a 'spectacle'. Additionally, the service staff lacked empathy and clearly judged people. The hotel shuttle bus service was unreliable – it would be late or suspended without notice, which caused major problems, like nearly missing a flight. Next time I stay in Causeway Bay, I will definitely not choose this place again.

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! During the day, I'm a diligent worker bee, but by night, I transform into a gambler. On Wednesday, I got the full Hong Kong night-life trifecta: milk tea, horse racing, and the Ding Ding tram. (Friendly reminder: ****, remember to save some money for your return flight!)

Room was nicely renovated. TV supported HDMI but smart functions not working. Gym was surprisingly decent. Location was a bit far from the MTR. Also surprising that they did not have any phone chargers available to rent or charging adaptors to borrow.

This isn't my first time staying at this hotel. The location is quite convenient. I checked in alone around 8 PM. Without even asking, the front desk initially gave me a twin room. After I requested it, they switched me to a single-bed room. However, the view outside the window was quite odd. I wish I hadn't bothered to switch.

The hotel is right behind Victoria Peak, and there's a bus stop at the entrance, which makes getting around very convenient. There's also a water dispenser right outside the room, which is a nice touch.

I actually fell in love with Hong Kong because of this hotel 🇭🇰. I'll choose to travel to Hong Kong for any holiday, big or small 🧳. I've stayed here every time I've visited over the years, and the front desk manager is always warm and thoughtful, once again upgrading me and my children to a suite. The hotel has updated its decor. The kids felt like they were living in Disneyland. They were incredibly happy. Thank you, Dorsett Hotel, for a perfect vacation for me and my children. You can't go wrong choosing to stay here! The location is fantastic, super convenient for shopping in Causeway Bay and getting anywhere. The experience was so good, I just left and I'm already planning my next holiday trip for this year ❤️🍾🌈
