Reviews of Panda Hotel

This was my second visit to Hong Kong. On my second day, I stayed here to visit Hong Kong Disneyland. The environment was lovely. You absolutely must try the downstairs 'cha chaan teng' (ice room) – it's incredibly close and delicious. In the evening, I also went to Victoria Peak. Getting to Disneyland from here by MTR was super convenient, taking only 20-30 minutes. The bed was quite large, easily accommodating an adult and a child. Highly recommended.

Saw the reviews on Xiaohongshu and decided to go. It turned out to be super crowded and a very lively place, but I guess I got lucky. The price during the National Day holiday was the most reasonable, and the room size was decent too. It was a false alarm in the end—pretty good value for money, and a cost-effective option if you're visiting Disney.

The location is very convenient, with a mall and supermarket right downstairs. It's a 5-8 minute walk to Tai Wo Hau MTR station and a 10-minute walk to Tsuen Wan MTR station, where there are plenty of food options. However, the air conditioning in the room this time was incredibly hot; it felt like it was still in the mid-twenties (Celsius) even after running for a long time.

The hotel is located in a convenient place. The personnel is very pleasant and helpful. From downsides sometimes waiting for an elevator can take a long time. In the photo it's a view from our room.

Panda Hotel is a solid choice for anyone visiting Hong Kong. Getting to and from the airport is very easy as the public bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The rooms are well-equipped with a mini-fridge, AC, and a kettle. It can get quite busy during peak hours, and it's slightly far from Central, but the nearby MTR stations make commuting a breeze. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay.

Location is very convenient, easy access to public transportation, shopping mall below hotel floors have great food and you can shop for everything. I especially like the airport bus to the international airport downstairs. Staff at concierge are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Higher floors has great view and toilet is very clean. Restaurant on 30th floor is excellent with food and service.

The service was quite bad. The room was quite old and the table had a lot of stains. The bathroom rack had water stains that obviously wasn’t wiped before hand. I requested to change the room. They downgraded me to a twin bed room when my booking was a kind size bed. When changing the room they didn’t inform me that they were changing me to a twin room until I walked into it. Don’t understand why that couldn’t have told me that there were no king size beds anymore.

I don't know about others' experiences, but I've stayed in many hotels and I'm generally not prone to skin allergies. However, this is the first time I've ever broken out in huge, intensely itchy bumps on my hands and legs after staying at a hotel. The cleanliness here is really concerning. I've never had this happen even at 200-yuan budget hotels, yet a hotel costing nearly a thousand yuan turns out to be this terrible.

I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights because I heard it had good access to Hong Kong Disneyland. There wasn't much difference in price between a taxi and the train from the airport to the hotel, so I took a taxi. The room was simple, and the amenities were truly minimal (just a toothbrush and slippers), but since I only needed a place to sleep, I was satisfied. The slippers were quite thin and flimsy, so I recommend bringing your own if that bothers you. I also stayed at the end of August, but the room was quite cold; it was chilly even with the air conditioning off, so I suggest bringing a jacket or cardigan. There were two rolls of toilet paper, but once one ran out, it wasn't replaced. Hand towels and bath towels were replenished daily. I could hear some noise from the adjacent room, but there are a lot of international guests, so I guess that's to be expected given the clientele. The building where the hotel is located has a supermarket and many Japanese restaurants, so you won't have trouble finding food. I only noticed it later, so I couldn't use it, but there was information in the room drawer about discounts available at Aeon (apparently, you just need to show your room key). The access to Disneyland was good, and for about 10,000 yen per day for two people, I was satisfied with the price as well.

The room had a nice view and was equipped with everything I needed. The check in process was fast. Only issue was the bathtub's plug was not completely sealing the drain so water slowly drained out while bathing. Would definitely go again !

We stayed here for 4 days and it was a comfortable stay. it is one bus away to the airport. We availed the early check in during our stay with no extra cost.

Hotel is old but generally well maintained, shopping mall downstairs have a variety of shops offering daily necessities

The room is located above a shopping mall, making it very easy to find. There are many great restaurants upstairs. The soundproofing of the hotel is average, but the environment is decent.
