Nicely appointed in a minimalist fashion this is a top notch middle range hotel suitable for short as well as long stays. The availability of a pantry and crockery on each guest floor and in the reception area provides eat in choices. The hotel’s location, though away from the main drag of Wanchai and Central, is nevertheless connected by public buses to all points on the Island and even beyond. The elevators here are liable to over subscription during peak check in /check out times but the place is generally well run. Thumbs up again and again!

We really liked our stay here. While the room is small but has a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom, there was a lot of facilities and community space. The location seems far off, but you can find anything in Aberdeen just a short walk away from the hotel. There is a big nice graveyard in the area on a mountainside. The Bus system is very good and gets you anywhere fast and cheap. We'd love to come back to the South Nest again!

Found these nail clippings next to the bed, the floor wasn’t cleaned well. Also, while I was packing my bag at 11:30pm, I must’ve moved the chair. To my surprise, the front office called to inform me the guests downstairs complained about the noise. All I did was drag the chair to get my bag…isn’t this a soundproofing problem and not my problem. Apart from that, there are buses right outside the hotel and has good basic amenities.

Clean modern style hotel . Small rooms , but efficient! There is full equipped kitchen on every floor. Two elevators are not enough for this tall building!

Staff were great. The location is good for a nice quiet stay but if you want to go into the city there is multiple different buses to get you there. Metro is a 30 minute walk away!

Check-in and check-out were simple and fast. The male front desk staffs are friendly and helpful. Room dimension is reasonable.

Good location for me as I run errand there. Near to bus stop and airport bus A10 is 5mins walk. There's a MacDonald and a few convenient stores and supermarket around. Quick check-in with a deposit of HKD500. There's a lift under maintenance so there's a queue to go upstairs. Room is basic but clean. My room is directly opposite the lift so there's a little noise. Overall, value for money.

Good location and great sunset view, would come back again. Really enjoyed my stay.

It’s a hostel like hotel. Small but nice. Reasonable price.

Decent place but could be crowded when there are tour buses arrival. Lift would be all full and full of noises at the lobby. Other than that rooms are clean

South Neat is in Aberdeen, which is quite far from all the touristy places. But Hong Kong is so well connected that i never had an issue with it, many buses had direct routes to places I wanted to go. Furthermore it’s in a quieter place so no issues.

The front desk is nice. In general a a stay for a local traveler.
