Breakfast is average, but the amount is still enough. There are Western-style breakfast and Chinese-style porridge and soy milk fritters. The hotel is opposite the Huasheng Hot Spring Hotel. It is very easy to find on the roadside. It is a 10-minute drive from the direction of Emei. The parking lot is enough, but it is outdoor. We are staying for the second time. I experienced it occasionally when I saw the snow scene last year. I experienced it. The last time I chose this room was great.

In one word: ENCHANTING.I was on a reading holiday . . . traveling alone to submerge myself in literature while enveloped in nature. The Cloud Inn surpassed all expectations. Even the cloudy days and light rain did not take away from the beauty of this property. On the contrary, it added to the seclusion and peacefulness. The Cloud Inn sits on the edge of new housing (if you are familiar with Vail, Colorado, this is what the atmosphere on the way to the Cloud Inn reminded me of). This is nice because not that far away (maybe a 20 minute walk) is a full-service grocery store, complete with imported snacks and chocolates. Once you arrive at the property, however, you almost forget that there are other properties nearby. Looking in three directions, all you see is either architecturally beautiful out-buildings (the accommodations) and Inn landscaping or the naturally beautiful vistas of Mount Emei. Walking in to the Cloud Inn lobby was another treat. I never felt so compelled to sit and enjoy myself in a hotel lobby. Even with other guests coming and going, the lobby - wherein the design is influenced by its natural surroundings - was always warm and serene. And the room . . . absolutely wonderful. Again, the design is clearly influenced by its setting within nature. My accommodation was in one of the out-buildings, in which three walls offered windows to the stunning landscape of Mount Emei. The food was deliciously Chinese. If you are looking for \"western\" style food, you may be out of luck in the entire village. But I can honestly say, this is some of the best Chinese food I have eaten (as I write this in May 2019, I've lived in northern China for six years). It is clear that they take pride in not only the quality of the food, but also in the visual presentation. Finally, the staff. They were terrific. Always available to help and to serve. They helped me with translations, lent me items I needed, made sure I got on the correct departing bus, and even upgraded my room to ensure the best possible experience.I would 100% recommend staying here. If I ever get back to Mount Emei (峨眉山), I will definitely look in to staying here again. The pictures show the lobby and hotel grounds. I did not include room pictures, since those are on the website. The last picture is where the grocery store is located.

Location is excellent, right near the river. The lobby is beautifully decorated, but don't be fooled, the room itself is not very clean. The walls are dirty and there is no door for the ensuite bathroom. We also found several cockroaches, including one in the kettle. The toilet is a squat and is underneath the shower head.
