We gave the service 2 points because when we checked in, we met a receptionist named Yuko. Because of her unprofessional and cold service, we were greatly discounted from Marriott, which we had always chosen. We arrived at the hotel at around 8pm. After showing our passports, Yuko asked us if we wanted a twin room. I said that I had booked a queen size city view room on Ctrip and confirmed it with the English version of Ctrip. I showed her the slip and she said it was not a confirmation, just proof that you had booked a room. She said that if I insisted on a double bed room, we couldn't arrange a room with a balcony. When we got to the room and opened the curtains, we saw a garbage room opposite with all kinds of garbage piled up (see Picture 1️⃣, Picture 2️⃣). So I went back to the front desk, and it happened to be another front desk staff. I told her the situation, and she immediately changed me to a room with a balcony on the 8th floor of another building. As luck would have it, we had to stay an extra 2 nights due to a change in itinerary, and it was Yuko who hosted us. After her computer operation, I confirmed again and again that the key card could be used tomorrow? She said it was okay, but we couldn't get the beach towels the next day. When we went to the front desk and asked, we were told that the key card had not been extended, and we were really speechless. The employees here are very enthusiastic and will say hello and say Aloha every time they see them. This Yuko never smiled at all. I hope the hotel can criticize and punish this staff. Such a service attitude is not worthy of working at Marriott!
I would also like to thank April and Elaine at the front desk, as well as the concierge staff for their help and warm service!
The location of the hotel is very good. There is a beach less than 50 meters away🏖️. If you go 🏖️ you can use your room card to pick up a beach towel on the first floor and return it when you come back, which is very convenient. The hotel room does not provide drinking water, but there is free drinking water on the first floor. You can get water in bottles or cups (see picture 3️⃣).
