Waikiki Beachside Hostel

The hotel's location is great, right next to Waikiki Beach, just a 5-minute walk. However, the facilities and environment are very old. The bedding is worn out, faded, and pilling. There's no elevator in the dormitory, which is very inconvenient if you're traveling with large luggage. Although a male staff member enthusiastically helped, carrying bags up and down was still a hassle. A female staff member told me to handle my own things... It was a bit noisy outside at night, and the windows couldn't close completely. My foreign roommate came back drunk at 2 AM, making a huge scene and throwing up all over the room. It was a truly awful experience.

This hostel offers an excellent experience! The environment, cleanliness, and atmosphere are all highly recommended. It was much more enjoyable than staying in a hotel.

The room had a kitchen and a bathroom. It was clean, and breakfast included free pancakes. The location was excellent, just a 3-minute walk to Waikiki Beach. The staff were also friendly. Highly recommended for solo travelers.

I stayed alone in a female-only dorm with a kitchen at the hostel. About the hostel: 1. It's a 3-minute walk to the beach. 2. The W-Line bus ($2.50) goes from the airport directly to the hostel stop (it's a 3-minute walk from there). There are ticket machines for bus passes at the airport. 3. There's a communal kitchen (open from 6:00 AM - 10 PM). 4. You can get beach equipment (like surfboards) for a deposit. 5. There are plenty of food stores and cafes nearby. 6. They offer excursions. 7. There's a locker in the room, but you'll need your own lock. There's a lot of traffic on the island's roads.

The hygiene was decent, and there's a free breakfast. Check-in was on time, but you could drop off luggage early. Dorms really depend on your roommates; I'd recommend it for group travel.
