Hilton Grand Vacations Club Grand Waikikian Honolulu

Waikiki Honolulu|0.13km from Maui Divers Jewelry
Well situated inside Hilton Hawaiian Village Property, this hotel tower offers upscale accommodation, an expansive lobby and reception area, an on-site convenience store “Accents,” concierge services, luggage storage, and convenient self-parking. Since the GW is on the border of the property, it seems to be a quieter location than the other towers, with exception perhaps of All’i. The Paradise Pool is closest and offers poolside food service; the Lagoon is also close by and is usually quiet in the am, until all the aqua bikes and floats come out in the pm. Our 32nd floor 2 Bedroom Oceanview suite had a wonderful view from the 2 balconies, and also offered a distant view of the Hilton luau most evenings. Master king bedroom had good closet and drawer storage, a large bath, with separate shower and tub, and the deluxe Toto! ( great toilets everywhere in this town, even at the airport!) The tropical scented toiletries are very nice. Second bedroom had good closet and drawer space, a balcony perfect for sunrise yoga, and a bath with shower. From the entry door ( ring our doorbell please), a hallway led into the living room, which opened into a second balcony, and into the kitchen and dining area. Kitchen had all needed items-dishes, bowls, cutlery, pots, pans, coffeemaker (and coffee packets), electric hot water pot, dishwasher, microwave, full size fridge and freezer….. Suite was nicely decorated, and had 3 TV sets. The Samsung washer and dryer were so useful in this hot weather to freshen our clothing, and small packets of eco- friendly detergent were included. Housekeeping staff was most attentive and stopped daily to see if we would like service. Rooms were kept as neat as a ship’s cabin! We did a lot of takeaway meals, and ate outside on our balcony at sunset. We requested a late checkout, which is available for a fee. However, since Saturday is the high guest turnover day, GW was unable to do this for us. But, the GW does offer its guests a lounge facility, with comfortable seating, and showers and bathrooms. Since the HNL flights always seem to be late evening, this lounge allowed us to go to the beach all day and clean up before flight time, while our bags were in storage with the bellman. We have stayed in several hotels on the property and really liked the quiet and convenient location and spaciousness of the GW. Also, the elevators were almost always fast, and there are longer walks and stairs in the lobby area when entering from the pool area.

Waikiki
It was Hawaii for the first time in 4 years after the corona was damaged. Of course, it's been 4 years for the first time at Caria Tower. I have participated in a yacht with breakfast as an owner's privilege. Very satisfied. Hilton Hawaiian Village is close to Ala Moana and convenient for shopping! The beach is also nearby and you can swim every day, and guests have free towel tickets.

Checked in the report is smooth, the front desk staff is just doing her job. Not too much interest in the hotel guests. There were not an ocean front building so even we booked an ocean front premiere 2 bedrooms unit. There are one building in front of us and we only have 1/2 facing the ocean and the other half is looking at the city street. It’s a nice new building but amenities is very limited. Pools were not open until 9 or 10 am. No coffee or refreshments in the front check in or out. It’s just a decent condominium rental.

The hotel brand is not very eye-catching, and it is not easy to find it. The airport shuttle bus is directly sent to the hotel entrance. You need to climb a staircase to find the front desk. Check in at 3 pm, it is useless to go early, but you can store your luggage first. When you check in, you must pay attention to seeing the options. Otherwise, you will receive more than 20 knives of parking fees every day. After discovering it, you will return the fee after talking to the front desk. It is a few minutes walk from the convention center and shopping centre, not far from the beach.

Hotel 60s, the location is very good, the room is large, but the facilities are too old, the sound of the hotel window is like an earthquake, the refrigerator is also very loud, the bathroom is not very slow and easy to flood. Not daily room cleaning, 2 times a week The only satisfaction is the hotel parking service, vallet, no tipping, so good service soon Many foreigners live, compared to Hilton next, the price is OK, it looks like Hilton is also a window machine.

Waikiki
We had 4 nights at the Waikiki Monarch and found it to be a strange experience. We booked it through Booking.com and stayed in apartment 2703A. On the positive side, our apartment had an amazing view of Waikiki, right out to the ocean, as well as along the canal – very inspiring! The location also was very good, situated on the western end of Wikiki. It was only a 10min walk to the beach and about 10min over to Ala Moana Mall and beach park. There was a good internet-enabled TV with about every channel and streaming service you could want – really a nice setup. On the negative side, the apartment was not very well cleaned upon our arrival, especially the floor. A couple of the dining chairs and the couch were covered in stains and were downright disgusting. The apartment was lacking a few basics, such as bedside cabinets and dressers/drawers for storing clothes. I had to lay out all my clothes on the floor along the hallway wall. We also felt the lighting was quite dim in the evenings. The kitchen was small and outfitted with only the basics. The kitchen faucet was loose and about ready to fall off – a little basic maintenance would’ve been nice. Another thing that was odd was that there was no reception or other onsite staff which could be called on if required. We were told to collect our key from a little lock box. We arrived at around 1pm, and since we weren’t allowed to check in until the very late hour of 4pm, we asked if we could store our bags and were told we actually had to pay for bag storage ($5/bag) for the 3 hours. It’s the first time we’ve ever had the experience of having to pay for bag storage at the hotel while waiting for check-in! Not impressed! In any case, we won’t be staying here anytime soon. Not recommended – there are so many far better places to stay in Waikiki. Don’t make the mistake we did.
