Holiday Inn Express AMSTERDAM - SCHIPHOL by IHG

We had a very good stay at Holiday Inn Express Schiphol Amsterdam. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and overall offered good value for money. The breakfast buffet was definitely a highlight — there was a good variety of food, and considering the price we paid for our stay, the breakfast was really good. One thing to keep in mind is the parking, which costs €25 per night. And one funny little moment: we ordered wine at the bar, but the staff couldn’t find the wine glasses, so our wine was served in beer glasses. 😂🍷🍺 Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would happily stay here again.

Its 20 min from Hooffdrof Station. Clsee to airport. Water is not provided.. you got to buy. All the rest is ok.

Good stay. Busy hotel but it was what’s expected, cleaned with good care.

The good: -The room and bathroom was spacious and comfortable. -On site parking (25€/night). The bad: -As you enter this establishment, there is a big sign saying that we need to help the hotel reduce their carbon footprint by asking the staff not to clean our room. To go with the text there is a picture of a sad looking polar bear (of course, always the polar bear). I'm wondering, if my room is not cleaned, do I pay a cheaper rate, because cleaning is included in the price? If not, I'm wondering if this hotel has joined the climate cult just because it's a great way to gain money. Make people feel guilty about having a clean room, and you need less cleaning staff , less cleaning products, less time….

I enjoyed my stay, we arrived early and we were able to check in. Rooms were ok, twin beds, shower, tea station. There was a blow dryer in the room also, everything worked fine. Great location 10mins walk from the train station, one stop away by train to the airport and about 25 mins to Amsterdam Central. Breakfast was good also pastires, breads, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and beans and then fruit and cold meats.

Great hotel. 15 mins walk to the station and then a 4 minute train ride to the airport. Breakfast was basic but did the trick.
