Directly connected to the airport, which is super convenient. Being a Sofitel, the quality is as expected, and the hotel is clean and hygienic. The only downside is that the room window faces the lobby downstairs, which feels a bit odd.

The room isn't huge, but despite facing the street, it's not noisy thanks to the double-glazed windows. The hotel is within a 10-minute walk of both Edinburgh Waverley Station and the bus station. There's also a shopping complex nearby with plenty of dining options.

The hotel has a dedicated passage directly from the North Terminal, which is very convenient. The room is spacious and the Wi-Fi is excellent, but the lighting is insufficient, making the room a bit dim. The bathroom isn't very large, and the hot water temperature is occasionally unstable.

Our last stop before leaving the UK, just a few minutes from the North Terminal, which was super convenient. The hotel facilities were good, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again next time.

I arrived in London in the evening, hoping to get some good rest, but the hotel's hygiene was really concerning. The bed sheets and duvet covers were dirty. As someone who stays in hotels frequently, I can tell by the creases on the duvet cover whether it's been changed or not, and it clearly hadn't. I called housekeeping to get them changed, but the replacement ones were still dirty, with bloodstains! I had to get them changed a second time before I could finally fall asleep, I was just too tired to deal with it anymore. But honestly, it was terrible. For a hotel costing over 1,000, this level of service is unacceptable. One star!

The hotel has a lovely peaceful ambience. The staff are efficient and friendly and check in has taken just minutes both times I have stayed here. This time I checked in online which sped things up. It is also nice to have people rather than machines to check you in! There is a choice of at least 3 places to eat in the hotel but bigger groups should probably book. The rooms are very spacious and clean. One slight niggle would be that I prefer a very firm mattress and didn't really like the soft topper on the bed but that really is a minor niggle. The hotel really could not be any more convenient for the North Terminal - you don't even have to go outside! Clearer signage would be better though. The first time I stayed there I had to go into the terminal to ask for directions, even though the walkway to the hotel was right next to me.

Stayed here for a flight and was pleasantly surprised by how great and new all the facilities were, and how clean everything was. In the evening, you can head to the North Station supermarket for groceries. In the morning, it's super convenient to catch your flight from the South Station, just a short train ride away.
