Holiday Inn Club Vacations Myrtle Beach Oceanfront by IHG

My first stay at this property could not have been better. Even though I was only in town for one night, the property blew me away. It might be the most enjoyable room I have ever stayed in. The decor and amenities were just spot on, everything I could possibly need in the room and kitchen were there and it just felt perfect. I wish I had been there for a week instead of just a night.

Property was clean and gorgeous! Heated pool was amazing! Price of drinks was very high. $45 for two pina coladas! There was not enough staff for the bar area and the Brewer's marketplace area. Both were left unattended for stretches of time leaving patrons standing around.

Property is beautifully maintained and plenty of staff to assist with everything needed. Prices were reasonable at “ market” on site. Room is gorgeous! Wonderful beach view off balcony. Pool was beautiful and water was warm!!! We will definitely stay again!

This is definitely a seasonal hotel as they don't have an indoor pool. Although the outdoor pool is heated, we were still cold getting out of the pool going to our room. The staff was excellent and very helpful. However like most cleaning staff at any hotel, they don't pay attention to detail as they are trying to turn over rooms quickly. Our ironing board was visibly broken as it only had one leg. And both hair dryers were not available for use; one was broken and one had additional items in the bag left by previous guest. These items did not impact our stay. The only thing that impacted my stay was I assumed that a Signature room would give an actual oceanfront front view, which was my primary reason for going and choosing the Signature room. If I knew that I will be overlooking a pool I could have just got a standard room. Other than that, very nice property with excellent staff. Food on the property is more expensive than off the property, but very convenient. I would bring my family again, but only if they can guarantee a room on the ocean as that is important to me when I travel inside the US. I want my domestic trip to feel like my carribean/international trip. And I don't mind paying extra for it.

I was completely overwhelmed at how much this hotel offered. It had been a while since I switched hotels in Myrtle Beach, but now I think it'll be a long time again. With a massive pool with two hot tubs, a spot that sells coffee and breakfast every morning, a bar next to the pool, and beachfront access with easy parking, clean rooms with decent size balconies, I enjoyed this short stay very much. Not to mention, there is a pier right next to the hotel and the beach was very clean and not crowded. The staff were excellent even though we arrived late, there was someone there to help us and they were very friendly. The hotel was very secure as well with wristbands needed to access the elevators.

Staff were always friendly and professional. We stayed six nights/seven days at the Club Vacations on the beach (not across the street from the beach) Resort Cons: • Both showers sprinkled water. • No screens on door-walls or windows. It would’ve been cool to listen to the ocean from the suite. • No outside, fire-escape stairs from the balconies. • No resort lounge chairs on the beach. • The A/C would stay on for only a limited amount of hours. We had to get up in the middle of each night to put it back on. • No on-site restaurants, only a to-go cafe’ • No cleaning/maid service. • No room service. • One of the (outdoor) hot-tubs was closed all week. • The outdoor showers did not work all week (to rinse sand, salt or lotion off before entering pool) • In our reservation notes, it was stated we weren’t interested in listening to or taking a tour. They tried to change our minds at check-in and again during our stay. They did not understand “No, we’re not interested” and their persistence was annoying. Resort Pros: • Secured locks on the suite door. • Wristbands (for resort guests) were convenient. • Full, stocked kitchen with unlimited supply of dishwasher soap. No supply of kitchen cleanser. • Washer/Dryer set with unlimited supply of laundry detergent. No supply of fabric softener. • Spacious and comfortable suites. • Family friendly! • Location was perfect from attractions, shopping and restaurants.

Wonderful place to stay!! Everything was great, everything was clean and top notch! Pool was very nice, kids enjoyed it! Great location as well! Will definitely be back!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Very clean, modern kitchen, comfortable bed, helpful friendly staff, great pool and hot tub. On the beach. Cafe had great food with large potions at a reasonable price.

We loved it so much we were already talking about returning to the same room next year!
