The nice lady was able to check us in early! Bernis, greeted us with a warm welcome when we returned from the races, his kindness is amazing! Giving kudos to the 2 ladies that work the bistro in the morning...it was nice to wake up, have a great cup of coffee with happy people! We liked that the hotel was away from down town ”main tourist area” but close enough to the horse track, and centrally located between restaurants. The hotel and rooms were very clean!! We didn't mind the new policy ”schedule room service”, it seems to be the new normal! Amazing staff with great location, we'll defiantly stay here again.

Very quaint. Excellent location. Quick walk to anything you want to do: restaurants (Colonial Pancake and Waffle House, my favorite!), ice cream and homemade candies (Kilwins), bathhouses (Quapaw, must go to the indoor hot water springs pools!), Superior Brewery (Tried 9, all great!), free muesum of one of the bathhouses, trolley tour, wax museum, 4D theatre, magic shows, plenty of shopping, a free cold spring water station (walk to three, two are hot.) You can get as much free spring water from 8 different stations throughout the city, so bring some containers to carry some home. The motel will give you a small jug to get some for the room at the cold water station beside the motel. Could fall out of the bed and be on the trail to the tower or promenade walkway. The promenade walkway is a shortcut to the the bath houses. The stairs down to the bathhouses are closed right now for renovations, but the walkway is still open and a nice walk. Even having to walk on the sidewalks is still not a bad walk. I recommend putting another folding luggage rack in the room. Has a nice closet with skylights, but if you don’t have hangup clothes it’s not very usable. It would be nice to have another luggage rack to sit in there so you don’t have to put your luggage on the floor. We stayed in a king room. It’s a bit small, so there’s not room for a lot of furniture. There were not any drawers to put clothes in. Bathroom was small and only had a shower. Everything updated. Nice mattress. Basically on a dead end. It’s the last structure before you get into the National Park. Very quiet. Look up and you can see the tower. The manager is super nice! Only complaint is the curtains. The actual curtains are fine, but they let light in from the outside lights. I think they need a curtain rod that is closer to the wall or a wrap around rod and maybe larger curtains. However, that would not keep me from staying here again. If I ever come back to Hot Springs, I will be making reservations here! Great time!

Great location. We upgraded to the best king room. It was huge, very clean, updated good bathroom...but only one chair. No table to sit drinks on. Not worth the cost for the upgrade. The room was quite warm at night, too warm to sleep well, and the temp didn't seem to change despite any changes to the thermostat. The breakfast at the hotel was good, but quite expensive. The roof top bar/grill was really fun - great views, and generally less expensive than breakfast.

We rented a family room so we could have 2 separate bedrooms. There's no refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, etc... The only AC was in the Master bedroom so our son got pretty hot. The towels for the hot tub had to be checked out and we had to strip our own beds and gather the linens. We have done this multiple times as we have rented houses previously but never in what I consider a hotel. The building is older but well kept. The carpet in the room was clean but there was quite a bit of dust on the dresser. The remote control for the queen bedroom was missing the back and batteries secured with electrical tape. The staff was amazing but the restaurant was very expensive. The hot tub was nice and the outdoor pool was heated and very well maintained. I would stay again but now I am more aware of the additional needs to be comfortable. Would probably be renting the full condo. Overall for 1 night these things are minor and the staff make up for the small conveniences that most hotels provide.
Hampton Inn Hot Springs

This Hampton was clean! Everything in its place and clean as a whistle! We normally stay elsewhere when we’re in Hot Springs but will be moving to this Hampton next visit as well. Breakfast was fast and fresh as well as tasty. We stayed two nights and it was a little different each morning which I found refreshing. Tracy, who was responsible for the breakfast set up was so friendly. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.
